I envy cats, they are said to possess nine lives while human only live once.
When I was really young and my cousins visited me, they often leave us children to play around while the adults talk outside my room.
It was the handful of time I was truly happy during those time when my lapses was the most painful. My medication reacting much too negative for my young body hence I was prescribed limited dosage.
They told of the outside world. A world filled with cars, shops, junk foods, balloons, and puppies and cats, at the end they would wave their hands to bid goodbye at me, saying they would me visit me next time.
That they would invite me to their home after I've gone better.
Home.
I once had that.
A cat named Timawa. And a dog called Lapa.
But now, I live in a place where a lot of people are in pain.
A hospital. But not an ordinary one.
A research facility specifically for people with rare and incurable diseases are confined in this building.
