Sadik walked to the house his friend Bobo and found him breaking some fire woods with an axe. When Bobo saw him, he dropped the axe and walked to him straight away. "Sadik when did you come back?" Bobo asked with excitement."I've just arrived" Sadik retorted."When did you come for holidays?" Sadik asked."A week ago" Bobo replied."So how's your new school" Bobo fervently asked."It was so amazing, I don't think I can describe it enough for you" Sadik happily said."The school is more than any school I've ever seen. From what I heard, it's even one of the best schools in Abuja" Sadik added."Let's go and sit under that tree before you continue" Bobo suggested.
They sat under the tree and Sadik continued to tell Bobo about his school. He told him about how beautiful the buildings in the school were, the foods in the dining hall and how organised their sport was. Sadik showed Bobo his new phone and he quickly collected the phone from Sadik with amazement."Where did you get a phone like this?" Bobo asked."My friend's dad bought it for me" Sadik replied."You are so lucky Sadik" Bobo said as he continued to check on the phone. When Sadik was describing how beautiful Fatima was, Bobo became completely envious."How I wish I was in your school" Bobo said and Sadik laughed at him.
They continued to talk under the tree until the place became completely dark and Sadik decided that he will go home. Bobo walked Sadik home and he turned back as soon as Sadik entered his home. When he got in, his mom was very angry with him."Where have you been? I've prepared this food for you while ago but you didn't come until now" his mom furiously said."Sorry mom, I was just telling Bobo about my school" Sadik pleaded."Why didn't you come home and eat before going back and continue with your story" his mom shouted."I'm sorry mom" Sadik appealed and he entered his room.
As their holidays continues, Sadik started missing Fatima. When he remembered the incidences that occurred between the two of them, he always wished he was in school. Whenever he's with Bobo, he talks about nothing but Fatima. For the remaining two weeks of the holidays, Sadik felt as if he was in hell. All he wished for was for his holidays to end so that he can see Fatima again. He kept telling Peter that he missed Fatima during their phone calls."You talk too much about this girl that you are beginning to make me angry, maybe she's not even as pretty as you described her" Bobo protested."I can say she's the prettiest girl in this world" Sadik said confidently."You are just blinded by her love" Bobo laughed.
Their holidays ended and yet Sadik's dad had not returned from his course at Lagos. Sadik gave all his money to his mother to keep it for him while he reserved some which he will be using for his transportation. On the day of their resumption which was on Sunday, Sadik woke up early in the morning and started getting ready for his journey. He took his bath and wore his school uniform. Just then, he heard the voice of Bobo greeting his mother."Hey Bobo, thought you were still sleeping" Sadik said."Is this your school uniform?" Bobo asked."Yes it is" Sadik answered."We have two types of uniforms in my school, one for our hostels and the other for class hours" Sadik added."Wow! Sounds great, so which one are you wearing now?" Bobo asked."I'm wearing the class uniform now" Sadik responded."Oh! That's cool, so you've gotten ready to leave" Bobo said."Yes I have, I'm just waiting for breakfast to be ready" Sadik responded.
When it was 6 am, Bobo along with Sadik's mother and two sisters accompanied Sadik to the Main road. As soon as they got there, a car with passengers from the neighbouring village came to pass and they stopped it."Goodbye everyone" Sadik said as he boated the car.
They got to Potiskum in a very short time and Sadik got a car that will take him to Abuja. They waited for almost 10 minutes for two more passengers so the required number of passengers will be completed. Their journey to Abuja started at exactly 6:30 am. Sadik was so eager to get to school that he couldn't even sleep throughout the journey. And during their journey, their car had a problem which cause some delay.
