He had already thought about dying instead of withstanding such a pain, but his body paralyzed after 3 hours due to poison, so he could not kill himself after that. If someone was trying to fulfill his last wish, then why not, even if he tried to resist it he could not, as his whole body was already paralyzed.
If Zynx had known about this bird being paralyzed, for more than 9 hours, then he would have cursed his system, for not providing the correct information. Since he didn't know, he had waited for an extra 2 hours, as 10 hours was required for digestion.
While walking toward this bird, Zynx asked.

He moved toward it, with full speed, and used poison shot, so he could at least get some experience, for support, if there is one.
He waited for a moment and found bird not resisting, just staying there like a statue. Zynx does not understand why, but since he is having a chance of attacking, why would he rejected it.
He then used poison shot, one after another. As it was just a stationary target, it was easy to hit, without chance of missing and could also be considered training this skill.
Bird expected to die with a single attack of this snake, relieving him from this pain, but this motherfucker!!, was using poison instead of attacking him directly, increasing his pain even more. He asked God,
'Even though I have done some bad thing, should not the torture be enough since I have been withstanding for more than 12 hours, why do you have to add fuel to the fire?'
He then finally died, feeling wronged, after half an hour of that extra torture. But Zynx had not realized it, as Mia had not notified him, since he was focusing, on upgrading his skill.
After another 15 min, He was feeling tired due to continuous used of poison shot. It was not only physical tiredness but also mental tiredness since he had to be focused in order to not miss the target.

Mia lied to him because if he knew, the bird has already been dead and the system had not notified him, then he would know, that system could lie, and his belief on the system would decrease.
