Chapter 36: Stupid Woman

During her ride back to the hotel, Hidayah was totally tired out and was sleeping. By the time she arrived at the hotel lobby, she could hardly open her eyes wide enough to walk on her own back to her room.

She walked across the lobby to the lift landing slowly. After waiting a while, the lift arrived and the door opened. She entered the lift and saw that there was a man in the lift. She turned towards the lift buttons. But since she was drunk and her vision was blurred, she could not make out the numbers on the buttons.

"Which level are you going to, Miss?" the man in the lift asked since Hidayah was staring at the buttons without making any movement. The lift's door had already closed and it had started moving. The man moved closer to her. "Miss, are you alright?"

Hidayah nodded her head. "Sorry, 36th floor, please." She could see the hand pressing on a button. However, she could still feel the man standing behind her. Not wanting to act awkwardly, Hidayah took a step to her left, closer to the walls of the lift.

When the lift stopped and the door opened, she took a step out of the lift. However, before she could move forward, the man abruptly grabbed her from the back and covered her mouth with his big hand. "If you wanna live, keep quiet!" the man whispered to her right ear. She nodded her head thinking that this could be an attempt of kidnapping.

Yet, instead of going back into the lift, the man pushed her forward. His action jolted her mind making her sharp. She started processing her thoughts, who is this man? Why are we moving towards the rooms instead of going down if this is a kidnapping? Due to her overindulging with the whiskey earlier that night, she was not able to move in a controlled manner. In fact, if the man wasn't holding tight to her, she would have already fallen a couple of times.

Her sight was still blurred and she still could not make out the numbers on the wall indicating the room numbers. The man stopped in front of a door and whispered again "I'm gonna release your mouth. Don't shout. If you make any noise and attract any attention, I will kill you here" Hidayah could only nod her head. It was not because she was scared, but she needed time to process the incident before acting. Plus, the pounding in her head is making her thoughts muddled.

The man took a key card out of his pocket and tapped on the scanner. Once the door was unlocked, he pushed the door open and pushed Hidayah into the room. He did not even bother with lighting the room up and pushed Hidayah onto the bed.

Hidayah fell hard and twisted her ankle. But she did not even make a sound. She tried to feel around on the bed to try her luck on locating her clutch. "Don't even bother! Your belongings are with me" The man said when he saw her hands touching around.

"Why are you doing this? Who are you?"

"Hahaha... For a smart woman, you are quite stupid… you didn't even know that I have been following you the past 2 days! Hahaha…"

"If it's money you want, I can give you what…"

"Who said it's money I want? It's you, I want… Your body… Hahaha…" The man interrupted her. He moved closer to Hidayah on the bed, unbuckling his belt and unzipping his jeans. His steps so fast that Hidayah could not get away. The man pinned her arms over her head using both of his hands and lay on top of her. Hidayah struggled to release her hands from the man's clutches. However, she could not muster her strength to escape.
