Chapter 10: Their meeting
" Still no news from them?" Xue Ning put down the teacup on the table. Her face was so calm, but Xue Yang knows her better than anyone else. This was a calm before the storm.
Today, he decides to pay a visit to Platinum Garden. Their private investigators failed to locate Xue Ming's whereabouts. It's already a month, but no news from their search. As if the person vanished from the world. No traces or clues at all.
" No, sis. It's like that old woman keeps it a secret. I tried to bribe her personal maid but failed." Xue Yang sighed, rubbing his hair with great distress. That b*tch like a loach!
" No rush. Keep an eye at the main house, try to get information as many as you can while visiting there. Check the CCTV records for sometimes, and don't make it too obvious." Xue Ning leans on the sofa, tapping her polished nails on the armchair.

Xue Ning looks at the nearest photo frames at the cabinet and saw a family photo at the front row. She saw herself, Xue Yang and their mother. Pain struck her hurt, hate overcomes her consciousness. Handsome with glasses adorning his face, his surprised and happiness looks didn't escape her fierce gaze. She frowned and tried to ask but the man beat her for asking first.
" Xue...Ming? Are you Xue Ming'er?" The man's trembling voice shown how excited he was. The lost feeling from two years ago rushes into his empty heart like a raging tide.
Xue Ming stunned. An acquaintance? She ransacks her memory to find this man information, but to no avail. No memory of this person? Then, how he knows her?
She asked cautiously, " You are..." Xue Ming stays in her ready to attack stance, but her earlier performance already attracting some onlookers that come to the mall. Some of them stunned by her quick movement, some of them records the scenes, and some of them waiting for the next scene to happens. That is human nature as a curious creature.
" Hey, hey, are they shooting a martial art movie?" the onlookers asking around them.
" What shooting? This is a real scene. No cameras around us, duh!" another man answered. They stunned. Seriously?!
Now, its the man turns to be stunned. She didn't remember him? Then, it is possible after that incident back then. He sighed and smiled. His eyes soften at the cautious girl. She looks so beautifully stunning with her lady-like dressing. This is not her first time to dress like this, but every time she does, she never failed to make him impressed and lucky at the same time.
This is his girl.
" I'm Xia Naihe."

I'm back. Honestly, I'm not so sure about this chapter and the previous chapters back then. When I read back all the chapters, I cringed.
