Chapter 9: Shopping!
They came to the nearest big city of Jiangnan. This bustling city was called Moon City because they build it up in shape of a crescent moon. In the middle of the district was the real heaven for all women around the world! The shopping complex building was developed to heaven. With 200 levels of shops and compartments, all women can shop to their heart content! High-class treatment, first-class services...This is a true paradise of the elites amongst the elites!
Xue Lang parked their car not far from the shopping district. After locked it up, they stroll over together. They were welcomed by the guards politely, before stepping inside the building. Amazed by the luxurious decorations, Xue Ming has been dragged into a brand shop by Xue Qiqi.
" Ming Jie! Ming Jie! Here! I want to shop here!" Xue Qiqi slip passes the alarm system and lost into her own world of the heavens. Xue Ming laughed and followed inside. Xue Lang...Hmm, let say he only job was to carry all the bags!
" Women.." Xue Lang gulped as he sat at one of the guest room to wait. As a soldier, he can stand not to fall over this tiny test. But, if you are given a choice, they would choose to not follow women to go shopping. Why? Because it was hell!
Two hours passed, but the shadows of the two still can't be seen. Xue Lang had a bad feeling as he rushed out to see a whole filled shopping bags on the counter. Horror filled his face. This...This... They can't be happening, right?
Xue Lang made a cough to let the two ladies aware of his existence, " Uhmm...Xiao Qi, are you sure you want to bring all those bags alone? I had two hands only here..." Xue Lang smiled awkwardly as he saw Xue Ming paid for it.
She rolled her eyes and snickered at her brother lost. " Lang Ge, you're a soldier. What uses for you to cover up all your strength? Come! Help me out! Ming Jie, we go out to find more clothes!" Xue Lang faces darkened as he shakes his head, resigning from his fate. After leaving Xue Lang with his pitiful states to carry all the bags, the two sisters walked out and went to another shop.
" Ming Jie, what dresses you need? Casual? Evening dresses? Party dresses?" Xue Qiqi stroll around the shop and saw many flowery dresses hanging on the racks. All types of clothes were there to choose from casual to formal one.
She cringed at the sight of these girls dresses.
" Casual and some night pyjamas. Others...Just leave it out first. I take the medical course, so I don't think that I would have time to dress up, no?" Xue Ming looked around, using her keen perception to locate any good ones. Several clothes caught her eyes and she quickly takes hold to try it.
Inside the store, Xue Ming tries out all the clothes she chose and loved it very much. After she tries all the dresses, she can't find Xue Qiqi's figure.
She looks around the stores, but Xue Qiqi's shadow can't be seen.
Where's the girl goes? She looks outside the store and saw Xue Qiqi at another shop across the store she currently stays. Shaking her head, she going inside to pay the dresses.
" Hello, Miss. Do you want to pay now?" The counter service girl asked politely.
Xue Ming smiled softly and nod, giving out the bank card to be paid. " Please wait for a moment..." The cashier beamed as she accepting the card.
As Xue Ming standing near the counter to wait for the cashier does her things, she spread out her perception to check the mall after sometimes of boredom. She smiled as she saw a family of three joking around each other. The father carries his daughter up to his back shoulder, the mother laughed at their daughter whining about her father being a meanie.
Xue Ming chuckles softly, admiring the warmest view in the world. A family. Away from her previous family, a homesick feeling suffocate her chest. At last, she sighed as the wish never happens in the future.
" Miss?" The cashier voice wakens Xue Ming from her deep memories. She turns around to see the apologetic expression on the cashier.
" I'm so sorry for disturbing you, Miss. Here is your card." The cashier holds out the card with both of her hands politely. Afterwards, she gathers the string of the bags together before giving it away to Xue Ming.
" Here is your purchased clothes. Thank you for choosing our shop, Miss. Please come again and have a nice day." The cashier and her friend bowed slightly as they sending Xue Ming out.
" Thank you," Xue Ming smiled and went out from the store to find her 'missing' little sister.

Uhh, now it's time for these couple meetings. Well, I'm a single lady almost for my whole life, so is it good to let them meet earlier? How should I make the atmosphere more...uhmm...nice and welcoming?
I aware how cold I'm in this kind of feeling...it felt foreign and far away from me. Thus, should I made it normal as in the books?
