Chapter 1159: Taking Her Out

Once office hours were over, Lu Lijun went to Jiang Yuyan's office. Jiang Yuyan was busy with her work but seeing him entering the office after knocking on the door; she held her breath.

She moved her sight to the stylish wall clock on the wall opposite to her, and she gulped as the realization hit her. 'Office hours are over."

She moved her sight back at him, and even before he could reach her work table, she exclaimed in a hurry. 

"Stop there."

Lu Lijun stopped and felt puzzled to see her panicked. He looked around the office. Not finding anything weird, he looked back at her. 

"Is anything wrong?" he asked.

"W-Why are you here?" she asked, sitting in her chair and gripping the pen in her hand.

"To take you back home with me," he replied casually and took a step ahead only to hear her again. "Stop right there."

It surprised him. "Are you okay?"

She didn't reply to it and said, "I'll go by on my own. You can leave."
