Lu Lijun and Liwei went to where everyone stood. 

"Where were you?" Ning Jiahui asked.

"To get a gift for grandpa and grandma," Lu Lijun answered. 

Hearing it, no one had anything to say as it was a sweet gesture by the young man. 

Liwei greeted everyone, and Lu Lijun answered the unspoken question from his and Liwei's parents, "Liwei was with me."

This young guy didn't care what others would say as he liked to do what he wished.

"Let's cut the cake," Lu Chen said, diverting everyone's attention. 

The elders cut the cake, and everyone wished them. Everyone gifted something to the elderly couple. 

When it was Lu Lijun's turn, he looked at Liwei, who stood beside him, "Let's go."

She looked at him questioningly, and he signaled her looking at the bag in her hand.

"Ahh, I forgot," she handed him over the bag.
