Chapter 20: Vacation
I was admiring the proposal reminding me of a mysterious person when someone knocked on the door.
After giving the permission to come in, I walked towards the shelf from my desk to keep back the file. Robbin walked in. He was smiling brightly.
" Sir, we have received the confirmation from both the Rey and Aava, They will arrive the day after tomorrow for the contract signing." Robbin updated.
" Make sure everything is ready by the time and ….. " someone giggling. I looked at the door and then the towards him, the bright smile from earlier was all gone just an innocent blank impression saying ' I haven't done anything. ' It indicates something is odd. This made me frown a bit and stepped forward. The staff gathered in a group around something they guys were enjoying it like someone is entertaining them.
'' oohh dear..!! Your hands are the prettiest I have ever seen in my entire life. " one said out of them.
I recognized the voice the very instant and signaled robbin, who walked out with me, to clear the cluster very instant moment and turned to move back to my room.
" How can you be so heartless? "
" How can you be so irresponsible? " I replied and turned to face the person who dared to talk to me like this. It's non-other than Taylor, my friend.
" I came to take to on a vacation trip for 3 days and we are leaving now. No excuses you are coming with me," he said while throwing himself on the sofa.
"I have contract signing day after tomorrow which cannot be processed without me. " I said ignoring him.
" Cool..!! I will be kidnapping you right after the signing since I will be there too. "
Arguing with him was pointless. He will do whatever he wants to. I ignored it and continue to focus on work. I have to settle everything before leaving as he is going to kidnap me which means there is practically no contact with the world. No calls, No messages, No emails or any kind contact with the world.
