Chapter 18: Lovia, The Trading City
From the entrance of Portia city, Huan Li keep walking forward. Portia and Lovia can be considered as a neighbour, because the cities are close to each other. It doesn't take more than 15 minutes to reach Lovia by walking.
The moment Huan Li entered the city, she can hear a lot of noises, people yelling, promoting and talking. There is also the sound of horse, wheels moving and bird chirping. Definitely a mess!
She can't even hear the city welcome notification, there are too many people that go in and out the city!
She never imagined that the situation inside the city will be like this, when she still played in the computer before. She has a friend that really like to go to Lovia, that's why everytime she needs something, she will let him go there and buy it for her.
If she's still playing with her computer, it definitely will got slowed down and she will make sure that she will leave as soon as she got what she need!
But, it's actually peaceful, there is a lot of stall but it's neatly arranged on the right and left side of the road.
'The marketplace system also very stable and good' she thought. She then start looking for a stall that's selling some silks. There isn't much people that into clothing and sewing skills, she walked about 30 minutes before finally seeing a clothes stall.
She immediately go to the stall, the stall's owner is a demi-beasts. The boy has 2 ear on his hair, it looks like a cat ear. The boy just staring at her with a look that say 'Go away'.
'Is this person really want to sell stuff? Why he told her to leave?'
The boy take a deep breath and smiled. "What can i help you with? If you just want to laugh at me, please leave" His voice is full of childiness, this shock Huan Li a bit.
'So child also allowed to play this kind of gadget?'
Noticing the annoyed and impatient in the child voice, Huan Li can only shake her head and tell him the thing that she want to buy.
When she mentioned them, she saw the boy face getting uglier and uglier. She just say that she need silk, needle and thread. But the boy seems like he just heard a shocking news?
The boy staring at her for a long time before opening his mouth "Yo- you really want to buy those thing?"
Huan Li just nodded at his question, the boy just say wait a minute and then leaving her alone.
Seeing the boy running, Huan Li feel confused, if she her memory is right, silk is a common material. As for needle and thread, she actually can buy them from NPC but the handmade one is way much better, that's why she decided to buy it from player.
She was after all, a multi-talented player before. She do a lot of thing, she tried every job that this game has. Even if she doesn't do sewing too much, silk is a starter material. The higher that person job's level will affect the quality of the material too.
