Chapter 7: I'll make it up to you, I promise
The person sitting inside turned towards them and beamed in delight. "Fay! She exclaimed. It's been so long, sis."
Fay smiled widely and it felt like she was back in her college. "Indeed it has. I missed you Mia." The long lost best friends hugged each other and the scene was just so beautiful and emotional. Fay was almost in tears.
"Aww, now come on, don't make me cry. I missed you so much in these five years, Fay, do you know that?" Mia smiled as if reminiscing the old days. "You totally disappeared on me. I'm so mad." she pouted faking anger.
Fay chuckled at her best friend's act. "I'll make it up to you, I promise."
Mia grinned. "Or course. I'm not letting you go easily. Anyways, where where you, all those years? Your boyfriend met me a few times in New York but he would not tell me anything."
Fay sighed. "I did not disappear, Mia. I just came back to China to look for more opportunities for my acting."
Mia smiled sadly at that. "I know. Dylan told me about it. But don't you worry, sis. Together we'll find a way out of it, okay?"
Fay's smile returned and she beamed at her old friend. "We surely will. But do tell me how did you get into the entertainment industry? I thought you didn't want to be an actress but a costume designer?"
