Chapter 2: Planet: Like a game?

[Preparation Done. Would you like to enter the Planet?]

[Yes/No]

Neth was so surprised by the sudden voice inside his mind, it took him a little while before he recovered.

"Yes?" He just subconsciously answered but who would have thought that it will cause a very strange reaction.

He felt that his body was getting stretched to its limit and his vision went blank and he was unaware what was happening to his surroundings. The next thing he knows is that he was in front of a very vast field, with nothing especial.

Neth was surprised to see the empty field that was so vast that when he looked around all he saw are nothing else than the grassy land.

[Congratulations upon entering the planet.]

[Congratulations for becoming the first host. Preparing the Gift Pack.]

[Ding! You have received a Large Gift Pack!]

[Since this is the first time for the host. The system will explain the general idea of running your own planet.]

[The Planet System allows the host to build his own planet of his own preferences, according to the location of the host from the third dimension. Since the host is located at the World 27D3, the ideal type of planet to run will be to raise Dragons.

Dragons are creatures with strong physique and have enormous strength. There are variants of dragons that can use elemental magics. Within the World 27D3, dragons are acknowledged as the strongest among the beasts so having a dragon is like having a great ally.

The system will provide the host with the essential buildings for the production of dragon food, habitats for them to live in and other things needed for raising dragons.

When the system reaches level 10 the host can bring a drake out to the third dimension. When the system reaches level 20 the host can bring two drakes out to the third dimension. This goes on until the host is able to reach to level 100 where the host is able to bring out 10 drakes out to the third dimension. When the system reached level 150 the host will be able to bring out a dragon to the third dimension. This will go on with the interval of 50 levels each.]

The system patiently explained to Neth the general introduction about the system, but Neth understood it more or less. It means that he will be able to raise dragons in his own planet and when he reached level 150, he will be able to bring them out to the real world.

With this, Neth will be able to survive in this world even though he was completely talentless. With the excuse of being a summoner a branch of mages he will be able to summon drakes.

He had read about drakes, they are creatures that are similar to dragons except they don't have any arms. They have a small possibility of evolving into a dragon in the future but it was not feasible.

Neth looked around the field which is supposed to be his world, all he saw was grassy field. To the left, to the right, in front of him and even at his back, it was all grass.

"How the fuck should I raise dragons here!?" Not using his brain to think of a solution, Neth is pretty stupid for not realizing that the system can help him.

[The host can access the menu to chose the option he needs.]

[Menu]

-Shop

-Quest

-Inventory

-Farm

-Ranch

-Civilization

Just like a game he can also receive quests from the system and in return he can received rewards upon completing them. There was also a function for the farm, ranch and civilization, where he can manage his own planet.

[Shop]

-Buildings

-Habitats🔒

-Plants

-Beasts

-Sword and Magic 🔒

-Eggs🔒

-Special Structures🔒

He saw a series of text floating on the air in front of him and he was amazed by the high-techness of the system. It was the menu for the shop and there was some option available for him to chose.

In the [Building] he saw a lot of things such as the farm, where he can produce the food for his dragons. There are also some buildings like a house, mill and other necessities for humans. The [Habitats] was basically for the dragons only and it was currently locked maybe because there was no dragon for the moment.

Next was the [Plants] and [Beasts] options, Neth saw that in these options there were beasts such as the [Ironhide Boar], [Scarlet Python], and other beasts. While on the plants options he saw some familiar plants to him such as the rice, radish, carrots and others.

The last three option were also locked, which are the [Sword and Magic], [Eggs], and [Special Structures]. Since he can't access these three option he has no idea what are their uses, except for the [Eggs] option which is obviously about dragon eggs, he don't know about the others.

"Okay I should probably start building my own planet but where do I begin?" Since Neth have never played any games before he has no idea how to start building his own planet. Although he can be considered as a knowledgeable person what is the use if he has no idea on how to begin.

[Do you want to open the Large Gift Pack?]

[Yes/No]

"That's right, I received this gift pack earlier. I completely forgot about it. Luckily the system informed me." As he interact with the system, Neth find it more and more reliable, he wonder if he can ask question to it but that has to wait later as he was very excited to see what gift will he receive.]

"Yes!" Neth answered.

After conforming my answer, a large gift appeared in front of Neth, it was shining brightly and was floating on the air as it rotates. And then the wrappers around it are slowly removed.

[Ding! You have received 1000 gold coins.]

[Ding! You have received a drake.]

[Ding! You have received 500 dragon food.]

[Ding! You have received a power orb.]

[Ding! You have received the Seven Form of Nirvana Cultivation Technique.]

CREATORS' THOUGHTS
H3art4Sal3 H3art4Sal3

More than a 1000 words. This chapter contains some ideas about the story's idea. Hope you like it, I was inspired by the idea of the game in Facebook, Dragon City. But I didn't follow everything about the game as I also like it to have humans to live in his own world where they can live independently.
