Another day at school, it's been 17 years since I've had been born into this world
You've must be confused by what I mean by "This world" aren't you? Well, it's exactly what it means, I was not born into this world originally.
My name is Ikki, but my original name was Alphonse, Alphonse Lands. You see I am not originally from this world. Before I was born again I had one of the most annoying being a Door to Door sales man. Well I would like to tell you all about my previous life, but that's for another time. I will tell you what happened to me before I became Ikki.
One day, when I was done with the last door I had to visit for that day, I came up to the usual cross walk I go through every day to get to my High rise apartment building, when I looked up at the light it was still red, that's when I felt my phone vibrate, it was my boss telling me that he's inviting me to his retirement party. Naturally, I accepted, he's still my boss and controls my pay check so I had to go.
When I looked back up at the crossing light it turned green. I saw 3 little children walking with what seems to look like their big brother. I took a step on the crosswalk, still talking to my boss about confirming the date of the party and that's when I heard it. The loud screeching, something big was coming and I knew, I turned my head to the left and that's when I saw it, a Truck. It looked like any normal gray and white truck but that wasn't the problem.
The kids, It was going to hit the kids as fast as I could, I threw my phone away and ran to them I pushed all of them away from the truck before it hit.
But before I could see if they were ok all I saw was the sunset accompanied by the orange sky that complemented it.
Then all I could see was Darkness.

The opening of this chapter was similar to CEK is, to say the least. I did it like that because I couldn't figure out how to start writing, plus it would help my writing engine to start up. Go read Overgeard it will help with you understand the details of the system
