Chapter 25: Chapter 24 Worried

They once again got back in to the carriage and began the journey to the castle. On the surface she looked calm and serene. However, that just wasn't the case. Inside she was terrified of not being good enough for Kryscht. It felt like she has known Kryscht for all her life, when in reality, it's been about 3 months since he rescued her. Love is crazy, was what she thought. However, she does love him, to the point she would die for him. All the while she frets internally about doing, saying, and showing the right things. She had Alexia prepare a gift for the queen mother. She keeps it on her at all times as it is very precious to her. She plans to gift the pendant and necklace her father gave her mother. It had shown up in the town rubbish and she found it. So she took it back to the Inn and cleaned it till it shined like new. She then had Alexia prepare a box and bow for it. Kryscht seen it and had wondered but didn't ask. Some people are meant to have something to keep to themselves.
