You decide to ignore whoever is - or was - at the door and continue checking out your current situation.
On the side table, there's a broken alarm clock with nothing on the display.
You think to yourself, 'Who would live in such disrepair?'
On the wooden walls there are the remains of a cover, but the wallpaper and paint has been scratched up in some places and stained in others. Not a great display to a guest. You smell the faint smelly smell of rot, but you pass it off as your imagination getting the better of you.
Looking at the lights more carefully, you notice that the bulb actually broke while in the socket, and see broken glass littering the ground between you and the door.
You can see the remains of a broken sofa on the other side of the room as the bed. You could see that it used to be an awful yellow color, and you could barely make out the faint shadow of something under the sofa.
