Chapter 544: My baby's surprise party
Shriya asked with a surprised face and also a bit of shock "So you have already seen it ?" and he nodded "Yes, of course. Now let's go. You can just pretend like it's my birthday today and you can do what all you planned before for me".
She looked at him with confusion written on her face "How can I do that ? I mean, it's not your birthday today and moreover, I am not prepared and it's all sudden for me, give me some time ?"
He thought for a moment and said "Okay, I will wait for you here and you can go do your thing and your preparations" and then after a moment he said yawning "I am tired afterall".
Before she could stop herself the words slipped from her swollen lips "With what idiot ?" and he grinned like a true idiot teasing "Really, Did you just forget what we did ? I was the one who has done all the work and of course, I will be tired". and she muttered "Shameless". and he smiled with a grin seeing her blushed face.
She ignored his teasing and thought hard for a moment and said after a long while "No, you can't stay here. You go out and come after an hour or so". He looked at her with shock and asked pleadingly "Can't I just stay here, please, I promise I will sleep and will not distrub you."
She shook her head stubbornly and he asked "Where do you expect me to go at this time...see it's late hour ?" as it was already past eight in the evening. She shook her head "that I don't know".
He decided to give her some time. He has already seen her being sad these past days but never got the chance to ask her, actually he did but she didn't tell him about that brushing the topic off by a simple 'nothing.'
And when he saw the half preparations, when he came in, he understood her intentions and why she spaced out like that these days, but was not in a mood to stop what he was doing. Later he decided to give her a chance to do what she wanted, so that she won't feel bad.
He said after a moment and said standing up in an instant "Okay" and she threw a pillow at him and yelled looking in the other direction "Wear something, you idiot" and he grinned like an idiot.
He wore his clothes saying "By now, you should have got used to me being....." and seeing her furious face he swallowed his words. He said walking out of the room "I will be back in an hour or so, surprise me honey".
She nodded and he asked "Don't you want to get out of bed or you will be late ?" and she yelled clutching the bedsheet tightly around her "Get out already you idiot".

Abhi entered into the all familiar elevator while calling someone on the phone. Then he hung up and called another 'no' and the call got connected after two rings. As soon as the person answered he asked in ine breathe "He is not answering his phone, where is he ? Is he with you ? I have been trying to call him; but he doesn't answer".
She didn't answer his question and asked in a grumpy and sleepy tone "Don't you know anything about time sense ?" and he heard something and replied "It's okay, I also need to talk to you. Can I come over ?" and nodded "Yes, now".
Other than Kunal, Garima is the only one who can speak to Abhi like that, actually who dares to and it's because of their close friendship and it's also because of the same reason others think or misunderstand them as a couple and many ship them too.
After a long pause from the other person, he nodded his head "I am coming then". Then he took the elevator to the upper levels and exited after he reached the floor and went straight to the apartment which is facing towards him.
He rang the bell and even before someone opened the door, he saw Garima's manager jogging towards her. She looked upset and scared and tobe precise "Troubled" with his presence at that time at her boss's place.
She greeted him politely and he nodded at her curtly. Garima opened the door and welcomed them inside and asked them to sit on the sofa in the living room.
Her manager is in her night pants and a loose t - shirt. Garima wore a pair of shorts, an olive colored crop top and all disheveled hair which she tried to turn loose haystack like hair into a pony tail.
She sat on the couch and asked "What's that you want to talk about ?" and he asked "Is he here ?" and she said shaking her head horizontaly with annoyance "He is here and is sleeping but forget about it".
