Chapter 6: Afresh 2
Someone knocked the door and interrupted my thoughts.
"Lunch is ready, Miss. Please come over"
said the maid.
I went with her downstairs. It was more of a castle with a long dinning table and at one end, sat the handsome man, who spoke to me earlier. He pointed his chin in the direction beside him, where I was supposed to sit. I sat down beside him. I saw so many new faces. He was the only one I knew until now.
"May I know your name, please?! " I muttered under my breath.
"Damon, My love.." He replied.
Wow what a beautiful name!!!! It just suited him right..
"It's as beautiful as him" I whispered to myself...
"Really?! " He said. I widened my eyes in surprise and a tinge of red appeared on my cheeks.

I finished my lunch and got up to leave.
"Let me accompany you, Ms Natasha." said another guy. He was also very handsome! I was blessed to see so many handsome men in a day!
"Su...sure" I replied.
"I am Lord Damon's younger brother, Edward. Nice to meet you. If there is anything, call me out okay?! This castle is soo big...And you might get lost... And by the way, beside your room is lord damon's room... Please don't be frightened of us sis- "
"If you are over with your so called 'Introduction' then you may leave."
A harsh and yet a soothing voice sounded over my head. Lord Damon.
"But bro- "
His stare made Edward shiver and he ran away winking at me and saying "See you later!"
"What's it with the 'lord' ?" I asked him
"A lord.. I am the Vampire king. That's why I am addressed as 'Lord Damon' " He said, sticking out his index finger as if thinking..
"Whattttt reallly?! I am soo sorry for the disrespect towards you, My lord!... Please forgive me." I bowed down and apologised.
He tapped my cheek, a habit, and smiled. He looked even more handsome when he wore a smile.
"Don't bother with it. Call me Damon. People close to me and my heart are allowed to call me so... Don't be frightened.." Damon said.
I looked at him and giggled.
He raised his perfect eyebrow.
"You are cute when you think..." I muttered, again.
He seemed to be blushing. He said " Why don't you join me then, in my study? "
"Ahh" I sighed. I blushed again..
