Chapter 14: Sword Intent

"You!" Kira shouted angrily and thoughtlessly attacked old Kuro.

"Oh? Young people today have no respect for their elders anymore." Old Kuro spoke calmly, not caring about Kira's attack.

As soon as Kira's coup was about to hit old Kuro, it suddenly disappeared.

"I do not think you should attack people for no reason." Old Kuro's voice echoed in Kira's ears.

Kira looked around for old Kuro, only to realize that he was nowhere to be found.

"Honestly, I'm deprived of you. A Genjutsu of that level and you just got stuck with him like that?" Old Kuro's hoarse voice spoke with visible disappointment.

"Genjutsu? When did I get into one?" Kira wondered in surprise.

"I will train you in the art of the sword only if you can get out of this Genjustsu." Old Kuro spoke indifferently.

"Exit this Genjutsu? How would I do that if I can not use chakra?" Kira asked confused.

"If you can not even get out of a Genjutsu of that level, how would you be qualified to learn from this old man?" Old Kuro spoke calmly.

Although Old Kuro considered this Genjutsu to be a low level, if a Jounin was trapped in this Genjutsu, he would still have difficulty getting out, even Kira, who did not even have Chakra, until a Genjutsu Genin level would leave him with no way out.

"Is not that impossible? There's no way I can get out of a Chakra-free Genjutsu!" Kira screamed angrily in his voice.

"That's just the excuse of a weakling!" Old Kuro spoke quietly.

"I do not know what to do with Genjutsu, but I do not know what to do with Genjutsu." Kira spoke with determination in his voice.

"Oh? Looks like this young man is a little interesting." Old Kuro thought, as he opened a corner smile on his face.

Kira, still inside the Genjutsu, sat cross-legged, and began to think of a solution to her dilemma.

"How can I get out of a Genjustsu? It would be a lot simpler if I could just cut everything ..." Kira thought as he let out a helpless sigh.

...

Kira spent a lot of time trying to find a solution, but even then he could not think of anything.

"Arrg! Why can not I just cut it all off?" Kira screamed in frustration.

"Wait! Who said I can not cut a Genjustsu? Who decided to do that?" Kira screamed again.

Kira then stood up, and took his Murasame out of the scabbard. Kira then began to cut anything and everything he saw in front of his.

"Oh?" He followed the most stupid path possible. Old Kuro thought, deprecated by Kira's stupidity. Not even he could cut a Genjutsu.

Kira tried and tried to cut the Genjutsu, but no matter what he did, he still could not escape from Genjutsu.

Kira then thought of something he had not yet tested. He remembered the strange dream he had last night, and thought that since nothing was working, there was no problem something else to fail.

Kira then positioned hisself, and focused entirely on that blow.

"T-this ... sword intent!" Old Kuro thought shocked.

Kira did not notice, but as he positioned himself for the blow, a strange green aura surrounded him. The aura gave the impression that he could cut anything.

"How can this young man have the intention of sword almost on the same level as my master?" Old Kuro wondered, extremely shocked.

Kira was totally focused on this blow, even he did not know why, but he felt that this time it would work.

Kira, then if some time, finally struck, but he did not strike something physical, even because this was a Genjutsu, Kira simply tried to cut the air.

After Kira cut, a tear appeared where he cut, but lasted only a few seconds before returning to normal.

Kira was shocked, since he thought he really could cut Genjutsu. Old Kuro, however, was shocked by another reason.

Old Kuro did not expect Kira to actually break his Genjutsu, but he wanted him to find a possible solution. But unexpectedly Kira was able to open a tear in his Genjutsu.

"After some training, he'll be able to do it easily! What a scary monster!" Old Kuro thought.

...

Meanwhile, at the Uchiha Clan residence, Yuno was currently in training camp with her brother.

She was physically fragile, but still she insisted that she wanted to be a great Kunoichi.

"Well, let's start your ninja training. We'll start with chakra control." Ken said as he handed a leaf to Yuno.

Yuno nodded, but before she could begin, her expression changed from animation to anger.

"Big brother, he's back." Yuno spoke angrily in her voice.

"You certainly have keen senses." Yuno and Ken heard a sneer.

Hearing the voice, Ken's expression darkened. He knew that voice very well.

"Again! I already said that I will not join the root." Ken spoke coldly.

"I would think again if I were you. I would not want to see Lord Danzo angry." The mocking voice sounded again, but whoever spoke had not yet shown itself.

The unwanted guest was actually a member of the root. He was already more than 1 week inviting Ken to join the root. He did not even know why Danzo wanted Ken to join the root.

"I've said more than once that I will not root, even if I die." Ken spoke coldly.

"Oh, but what if someone else died?" The voice sounded again, and a Kunai flew toward Yuno.

"How dare you touch my sister!" Ken yelled, blocking Kunai from reaching Yuno.

"HAHAHAHAHA. I really do not want to see Lord Danzo angry." The root member laughed and mocked before leaving.

"Big Brother ..." whispered Yuno, who was worried about her brother.
