Chapter 20: She prepared breakfast for me
At Li Corporations
Li Cheng arrived and he was looking different. He didn't shout at the staffs like other days instead he went to his office quietly and even answered those that greeted him. The staffs were surprised at his behavior
"CEO Li is behaving strange today, he didn't shout at any of us"
"I heard he was sick, maybe the sickness affected his behavior"
"What are you saying? This isn't the first time that CEO Li has fallen sick, his coldness towards us even increases when he's sick"
"Maybe he's on very good term with the Lady Boss"
"He even came to work late"
Even Secretary Jiao was surprise. Since she started working for Li Cheng, she has never seeing him in a different mood. He was always cold towards his staffs and he never answers his staffs when they greeted him.
Li Zihao was also surprised at his cousin's change of attitude, he couldn't hold his curiosity
"Bro, what happened? Your mood is quite different today"
Li Cheng looked at him blankly "she took care of me yesterday"
Li Zihao knew he was talking about Zhang Lihua, he was really happy that Zhang Lihua took care of his brother when he was sick "Bro, this is good news, so did you tell her how you feel about her?"
Li Cheng looked at him coldly, Li Zihao understood what the look meant so he changed the topic "Bro, am hungry, have your secretary brought your breakfast?"
Since Li Cheng preferred eating junk foods, when his secretary brought his breakfast, Li Zihao always ate it
Li Cheng continued with what he was doing and replied calmly "I ate breakfast at home"
Li Zihao was surprise, Li Cheng never eats breakfast at home. "What do mean by that?" There was confusion in his tone, he knew Li Cheng hate playing pranks so he was quite sure that he was saying the truth
"She prepared breakfast for me" Li Cheng replied without raising his head
Li Zihao was happy "This is interesting, your relationship with sister in-law is really improving"
Li Cheng replied with a "hmm".
Li Zihao wanted to convince his cousin to confess his feelings to Zhang Lihua but he knew that his cousin wouldn't listen to him so he didn't bring up the topic. Li Zihao was always fond of his cousin since he was little because Li Cheng didn't allow anybody to bully him and he always took the blame when he did something wrong. Li Zihao really wanted to help his cousin confess his feelings to Zhang Lihua but he was scared that she will reject his cousin so he killed his thoughts.
