Chapter 7: I want to go back to work
Zhang Lihua went to Li Cheng's study after she took her bath.
Li Cheng was going through some documents when he noticed that someone was standing at his study room door. He turned his head and looked at Zhang Lihua coldly.
Zhang Lihua cleared her throat. "Dinner is ready"
Li Cheng replied her with a "hmm" and continued going through the documents.
Zhang Lihua started eating when she got downstairs but she ate slowly. She was planning to tell Li Cheng that she was going to resume work tomorrow.
Li Cheng came downstairs.
He saw Zhang Lihua eating slowly, he stared at her for sometime and walked to the dinning table. When he was almost done with eating, he heard Zhang Lihua call his name.
"Mr Li" Zhang Lihua addressed Li Cheng as Mr Li. She only called him Li Cheng when they where in public places. Li Cheng was used to it so he didn't bother much about it.
"Hmm"
"I want to go back to work tomorrow. Am tired of sitting down at home without doing anything"
Li Cheng stared at her for ten seconds without saying anything. He wanted to say 'but we are still on our honeymoon' but he knew she was going to argue about it. He nodded his head and went back to his study. He knew he couldn't stop her. Besides, he was in love with her and he wanted her to always be happy so he just allowed her to continue with her career.
Oh my God! He allowed me to resume work tomorrow without complaining. But then, I still have to go to work with those bodyguards.
Zhang Lihua cleaned the dining table and washed the dishes.
That night, she slept on the coach while Li Cheng slept on the bed. When it was midnight, she was shivering badly, she had no other choice than to sleep on the bed. She slept on the edge and their was enough space between her and Li Cheng.
So this was how Li Cheng felt when he slept on the coach last night. No wonder he decided to sleep on the bed today.
