Chapter 2: Chapter 2
As we arrive at the party I allow Claire and Lily to get out first. As we walk into the party the smell of alcohol overwhelms my senses. I look around and see booze everywhere. I walk up to the bartender and get a Long Island Iced Tea. The alcohol content is very high in this drink so I hope it will loosen me up a bit. I drink the drink quickly before order 4 shots of vodka and doing them all. I walk over to the dance floor and start dancing then a smell hits my nose. This smell is unlike any other I have ever smelled. It smells like the deep forest, cologne and rain. I follow the scent to a balcony with some more party people. I look around and my eyes land on the most handsome man I have ever seen.
His eyes were as blue, like the deep ocean and his hair was slightly tousled. He was quite muscular and tall from my sense but with the power emanating from him he must be a beta or Alpha. He looks at me with a confused look before handing his drink to a random person and walking over to me. "Mate." He says when he reaches me. His voice is deep and husky, I just imagine myself falling in love with his voice. I look up at him since he is a good few inches taller than me. I smile at him sweetly before taking another sip of my drink. "Terra, Terra Knight." "Alpha Noah King." I think back to where I heard the name and gulp after remembering. Alpha Noah King was the Alpha of the Golden Moon Pack. The biggest and deadliest pack in America.
I look back up at him. "Pleasure Noah." I extend my hand to him. "Pleasure is all mine Terra." He takes me hand and kissed it. Where he kissed it is left with tingles. We talk some more for awhile about our lives and favorite things, just getting to know each other. "Wait. You play Overwatch?! I wouldn't take you as a girl that would play video games." He says as I start laughing. "Why wouldn't I?" I ask him. "I don't know." He says chuckling at himself. His chuckle was music to my ears. I get up and take my jello shot which had been handed to me. "We should dance." I tell him. He laughs at me and gets up leading me to the dance floor. He spins me as we begin dancing to a slow song that was playing. "Funny thing is… I never thought I wanted a mate but now that I meet her I am never letting her go." He says pulling a bit closer to him. I laugh at that statement before looking up at him to see him smiling at me.
"Alpha, we must return home. It is past midnight." A wolf comes up to Noah and I and says. Noah sighs and looks back at me. "We can spend the night at the Blood Eclipse pack. I have already asked the Alpha." The wolf nods then goes back over to Lily. He tells her the news and she smiles and kisses him?! "The Blood Eclipse pack is my old pack you know." I tell him. He nods before taking me to his car. His eyes glaze over slightly meaning he is mind linking someone. Before I know it Claire and Lily are both in the car with me as well as the boy I saw before and another dark haired looking guy that was cuddled up with Claire. "Terra this is my Beta Carson and my Gamma Aspen. They found their mates as well I guess." He nods at them before starting up the car. "And they're mates so happen to be my two best friends." I smile at them and they smile back. "Luna." the boys nod at me and I smile back at them.
