The private room is a small space covered entirely by tatami mats. There's a low beechwood table and 4 white seating pillow inside. The dining floor was slightly elevated, and there is a small shoe rack by the entrance.
There's a white fabric divider that serve as the "door" is used for privacy. Overall, the interior gave an authentic Japanese vibe.
Tia removed her jacket and her shoes then sat down, she crossed her long legs and CEO Lee followed suit. He sat opposite her.
A young waiter entered, he is a part timer who just started out last week. He held out his pen and paper and was about to take their order when his eyes landed on Tia. He was immediately entranced by her beauty.
Tia who was completely unaware by the young man's gaze took out her phone and started texting her little Sister Mei.
'Mei-Mei im sorry for my late reply. Im alright, don't worry.' then she hit the send button.
However, the young man's admiration did not escaped Ian's radar. The young boy shudders when he suddenly noticed Ian's icy glare.
He hurriedly looked down and proceeded taking their order. Ian didn't wait for Tia to speak. He immediately order 2 sets of bento, karaage chicken, shrimp tempura, california maki with cheese crisps and a 1 large matcha parfait.
Tia was shocked silly when she heard him.
'How does he know all my favorite food? Did he stalk me?!!!'
She looked at her boss incredulously. It's not far fetched to think that he had someone investigated her and found this information.
Since they work at an IT industry, she was fully aware how easily he can gather this type of data about her.
CEO Lee nonchalantly act as if he's unaware of what she's thinking. He casually handed the menu to the waiter.
The young man jotted down all their orders and hurriedly leave.
Suddenly a young woman entered carrying a porcelain teapot. She gracefully served both of them home brewed green tea, after which she politely nod and smiled to them then left.
Shortly the bentos were served along with the other dishes.
Tia was so famished that she hastily picked up her chopsticks. she had forgotten that she was with her boss. She picked out one California maki and dipped it with the sushi sauce and thoroughly ate.
Ian watched her as she enthusiastically devour her food.
