In an undisclosed location, Martha and her superior, Director Bryan Mitchell, investigates the recent events in Martha's life. Director Mitchell knew this was coming. He'd been hearing reports that the caliphate is searching for the document and is targeting Martha.
Director Mitchell kept it a secret to Martha as possible so as to not ruin her cover and her happy marriage life. Martha understands.
"The caliphate is looking for the document and only you knew where it is hidden. You also have the combination to the safe lock," Mitchell said.
"I know. That's why I came back. I have to secure the document before somebody got a hold on it," Martha told Mitchell.
"The car is ready outside. Just let me know your whereabouts and keep me updated," Mitchell handed the key of a black Ford SUV to Martha.
Martha sped off and went to a city bank. She went inside the vault and entered the combination of the safe lock.
To her surprise, the vault was empty. She immediately asked the bank personnel if there's a person or group who recently visited the vault. The bank personnel couldn't give any answer. She called Mitchell and as they were talking, she heard a loud explosion from the other line.
Mitchell was driving his car on his way to the CIA office when the car exploded in the highway.
"Shit! They're already here," said Martha to herself. She went back to the Ford SUV, put her seatbelt on and sped off. She returned to her NY apartment building.
As soon as she enters, a Middle Eastern man was sitting on a couch waiting for her.
"Sit down, agent Carol Smith. Or should I say, Martha Jones Denver," the still unidentified bearded man told her.
"We have the document. We don't need to look out for you anymore. But here's one thing. You have something else that I know, that you have and your superior did not know about," the man walked closely toward Martha as he puts his lips near her left ear.
"You're not just a spy, Martha. You are an asset. And we need you."
Martha was just standing, a little bit frozen. She can't understand why she's not doing anything. She could have disabled the man and brought him to his knees. But she can't.
"You see, Martha, we have a lot in common. You want the world to change. Me, I want it too. Badly. And this is why I have to build an empire to teach infidels a lesson," the man shouting angrily with a closed fist.
"I will let you live this time. I want you think about this. The next time we meet, you should have a good answer. Or else..." the man slowly walked off the door and left Martha stiffed frozen.
Realizing she let the man go, she pulled her 45-caliber gun from her holster and run after the man. It was already too late. The man left on a black Cadillac before she even get near him.
She dialed her Samsung S8 smartphone and talked to the person on the other line. "Get me to the President," she said.
