"Third POV"
Finally the bell rang.
The students returned back to classroom for the remaining portion of the exam. Kyoshi and his friends also sat down in their seats as instructor Juckle began explaining,
"Now that everyone has returned, we will begin the next part."
"For this, one by one students will be called to the adjacent classroom to perform the three academy taught jutsu. those are kawarimi, henge and bunshin jutsu. Based on speed of hand seal and proficiency of the test the student will be graded. do you all understand so far."
The class affirmed his question so he continued," now for the failing part, those who fail this portion will altogether fail the entire exam and will have to start next year as well."
The class burst surprised noise. the students began to rapidly asking questions about the unfairness of the situation but with the noise none were legible ones.
The instructor quietened the students and answered the simpler question," You all maybe thinking about unfairness of this test but this is followed as per regulation. As these are life saving jutsu when you are in a pinch, the academy enforces such rule so that the survival during mission is increased. there are some exceptions for specialists who don't have chakra amount or for those unable to do the jutsu due to some circumstances. but for that you need a sponsorship from a jonin so over all, everyone must pass this test."
"Now I will call the name for the students rankwise follow me to the next room for your test."
The instructor called minato over and called Fugaku on standby. the classroom was silent with some nervous whispers.
kyoshi also quietly waited for his turn. Kushina who was sitting beside him began talking with him.
"Psst! kyoshi kun, how are you doing? are you nervous?"
"Why would I be nervous? I am confident that I can perform the jutsu so I will definitely pass. you on the other hand, don't look so good kushina Chan?"
"Wh-what do you mean dattebane? of course, I'm okay! if you can pass that means I can also pass. I'm not bad as you, isn't that right mikoto chan?" she asked her friend to the other side.
Mikoto who was seated on the other side of me smiled and replied," of course kushina Chan. if kyoshi kun thinks he can pass, we will also pass as well."
"Hey hey! that's hurtful you know? how could you be so scathing with your comments!" kyoshi dramatically put a handkerchief to his face as of wiping tears," Oh Hisane Chan! where did I go wrong in raising these two. they have become bad kids saying bad things to others, OH God! what am I going to do?" kyoshi then even more dramatically started crying like a abandoned woman.
"Please maintain distance kyoshi San. don't stain my dress with your tears." Hisane stoically replied and retreated to avoid kyoshi's charge.
kushina and mikoto laughed at kyoshi for being rejected. while the ino-shika-cho trio all laughed looking at the interaction. kyoshi depressed sat in a corner drawing circles.
"OHHH! kyoshi got burned."Surprisingly it was the the polite one Inoichi who mocked kyoshi.
"Ha ha ha " while shikaku and chouza just laughed at kyoshi.
"You guys as well. just you wait, you all will also suffer sometime and I will laugh as well." Kyoshi mock angrily screamed.
"Alright alright! we will see then. for now, mikoto chan your name was called." kushina replied.
Seeing as his method to distract them worked, kyoshi smirked in his mind.
'You thought I was angry but it was I, kyoshi who got the last laugh.'
kyoshi shook his head as if to clear his mind and spoke,' Hmph! anyway good luck mikoto chan. do your best and pass this test."
"thank you, I will surely do my best and you too until I see you again. it seems the students who finished were not called back in this room"
"good luck mikoto chan." kushina and Hisane also wished her.
"Thanks, you both also get ready it's your turn next and good luck to you too."
"You as well kyoshi kun." she then turned around and exited the classroom.
We waited for our turn relatively quiet. After some time, kushina was called and Hisane was on standby.
When Hisane was called, we heard a loud whoop of joy outside.
"So it seems kushina passed." kyoshi spoke.
Hisane was also called and I was put in standby.
soon kyoshi was called as well. He gave his good wishes to the trio and exited the room.
In the other room, instructor Juckle and Hiruko were sitting before a table with some hitai-ate and paperwork.
"Uchiha San, please perform required jutsu serially from kawarimi, henge and bunshin."Hiruko spoke.
Kyoshi nodded and performed the required handseals and switched places with a chair and returned back.
"Good, now the henge into instructor juckle."
kyoshi after some handseals changed into picture perfect example of Juckle without any expression on his face.
"Hmm good job. now change back and make two bunshin."
Kyoshi released the henge and made quick 2 clones and released after maintaining for few seconds.
"Ok you pass. please receive the hitai-ate and receive the instruction for further process. congratulations on becoming a genin of konoha and make your village proud."
"Thank you." kyoshi took the forehead protector and looked toward Juckle for more details.
"So you passed. this is the registration form, photo for the registration will be taken on same day as you return the form. you are to submit your form to Hokage sama in his office in three days. understood."
the instructor monotoned and gave the form to kyoshi.
Kyoshi exited the room after receiving the items and went outside. There he found the girls chatting excitedly so he went toward them. Seeing kyoshi, they waved to him and congratulated.
"Thank you, congratulations to all of you too for making genin. let's celebrate in my house if you don't have any plans." Kyoshi suggested.
"Good idea! let's meet later in evening at kyoshi's home to celebrate. for now I will tell my parents the good news." mikoto cheered.
"What's wrong kushina Chan? don't you like this plan?" Hisane noticed kushina's expression and asked.
"No no! it is a good idea. I just wish my family was here to celebrate this with me." kushina smiled despite herself.
Mikoto and Hisane hugged her concerned and in sympathy.
"Don't worry kushina Chan. I'm sure they want to come. Maybe due to the recent invasion, they are busy. otherwise, they would not miss their daughter's special day." kyoshi said trying to cheer her up.
"yeah kushina Chan, I'm sure they will come rushing once they hear you became genin." mikoto added.
Kushina smiled and said," you are right. they are probably too busy right now."
"Ho ho! it seems our daughter has matured finally, Okaa-san" someone spoke from the gate in boisterous voice.
"Ara Ara! tou-san is right. it seems like just yesterday she was crying after failing to make the storage seal. now she is all grown up and became a genin already. not before long she will get older and get married. oh how the time has passed."
So the group of four looked to see the source of noise. As soon as kushina saw it, she rushed in open arm of the person,
"Tou-san, Okaa-san you are here!" she tightly hugged both of them.
"Of course, we came. we would not miss this day for the world. Thank god Hokage sama sent me a letter informing me of the exam. Congratulations to you, our sweet musume Chan."
"Hai tou-san! thanks for coming." kushina nodded in the embrace.
"Here is your graduation gift from mom and dad." Kushina's mother opened the small pack and presented the gift.
"Oh what is it, Okaa-san?" kushina looked at the gift to find two hair clips that were masterfully crafted with fine sculpted design. it looked pretty simple at a glance but carefully looking at it showed quite beautiful pattern.
"It looks pretty Okaa-san. please put this on my hair." she bounced in excitement.
"Ok ok!" kushina's mother put the clips one her hair in the place of previous clips." it looks good on you kushina Chan."
While all of this was happening, the group of three quietly watched the exchange happy for their friend.
"Uhh, Kushina chan! why don't you introduce you friends here." Kushina's father seeing the unfamiliar faces of his daughter's companions suggested.
"Oh right! Okaa-san otou-san, this is mikoto Uchiha, Hisane hyuuga and Kyoshi Uchiha. these are my friends from school I told you about."
"Nice to meet you both of kushina's parent. she has told a lot about you." Mikoto bowed in greeting while Hisane followed with a "Nice to meet you as well."
"What about that boy? why is he standing there with wide eyes?" Kushina's father asked," Don't tell me, this boy is trying to secretly woo my daughter without us knowing before, running off to get married because we didn't accept and return with some kids thinking we will forgive them after looking at my grand children."
Kushina's father was lost in thoughts before exploding in anger,"
YOU BASTARD! don't think I will forgive you just because of my grand children. just stand there and receive my beating for stealing my precious daughter!!!"
He was about to charge at kyoshi before being planted to the ground by his beloved wife Who was standing over him with a smoking fist and flying red hair while the rest of the girls stood there shocked out of their mind.
"Shut up dear and get out of your fantasy." she added.
While this was happening kyoshi was thinking only one thing,

PS: I learned moon, Venus and Jupiter is going to make smiley face in 16th may 2020..... strange huh....
