Chapter 4: Magic Teachings
A drug from my home means many things. A drug to block out pain, a drug to make your worst nightmare come before you, a drug that can make you become a genius.
Well, apparently here there is no such thing as any of those drugs, except for the pain blocking drug. Here it's called a pain killer. Ryan told me that I should get a book at this ' Drug Mart ' to read up on this history of the world. This world I found out was called ' earth '. Ryan also says I should keep a journal, I should write my feelings down and the things I learn about myself and the earth. So here I am browsing the book isle on history and a good journal.
" Maybe this one?" I mutter to myself and pick up a book called. ' Our historic roots. ' I sigh and look at it. The cover is a bland brown with gold letters.
" It's you again." A voice says. I turn to see the boy that I first say at Walmart. His freckles dot his nose. I can't help but smile. " You know I don't in my really pin you as the history type. After all, you had a crazy costume on yesterday."
" Yeah, a costume. It was for a party." I cover up. Back home we used to have party's. I smirk slightly. This boy may look innocent but I never fully trust people with ink black hair. He grins back at me. " what's your name. " I quickly continue my side of the conversation because he had opened his mouth to say something.
" Oh, it's Johnna, it was my uncles name, he used to be crazy then all the sudden went missing. " He says. Ha, Johnna is the name of the leader of midnight magic thugs back home. I have to keep my enemies close maybe I can get back home from him.
" Johnna, nice I'm Greata. " I say, I make this fake name from nature. His smile slightly falters something no one would notice unless, like me you were looking for it.
" Greata pretty. We should hang out sometime. Like my house has a pool. " Johnna says charmingly. I forse my smirk to grow bigger. Batting my eyelashes I say, " My daddy would get so mad! He would probably confine me to my room."
Again his smile falters, but a stupid highschool girl would not notice it. Just then Ryan rounds the corner to the books. I turn and make a quick face that says. ' Help me!' Ryan laughs lightly something that sounds highly fake.
" Hey little sister, let's go pay and leave." Ryan says he pins a glare on Johnna. Johnna glares back. Then throws his head back and laughs wildly, so wildly a few people look at him like he's crazy.
" You can't play this game forever Sera." He says them turns and struts down the isle. I run after him Ryan close behind me but when we round the corner he gone a little pile of black sand is the only thing that suggests he was ever there.

I scowl again and circle the room again.
"Transportation magic. The midnight magic makes it harder to track and even if I did I would throw up way to much blood and turn over even more. " I say quietly in my rage. Scowling again I turn to Ryan.
"Well you shouldn't use use your magic. But maybe you should or rather could get to a different relem. You say earth is a bad place for magic. " Ryan says. I scowl again.
" Magical lady of the court and high level crystal warrior. I might as well be waving a flag and saying ' Hey! Kill me!' " I say. Ryan looks thoughtfully at his shoes.
"Well you say that a healer could heal you right up from the blood you throw up and the midnight magic venom." Ryan begins. I pace again and grunt to say 'yes. ' " Well, you also said that because you saw people with blonde hair they probably use magic and don't even realize it." He continues.
" Yes! Ryan. what are you getting at?" I say slightly interested.
" Well, what if I have healing magic and never knew it. I just need a teacher to help me activate it and teach me the basics." He finishes. I stop pacing because I know it's a good idea but also a dangerous one. Now that the midnight magic thugs know I'm here they will probably kill Ryan if they get a chance.
" It may get you killed." I say and see him nodding. " And it may not work." he says okay. " But it may also work.
"Ryan I hope you know what your agreeing to."
