Chapter 16: He likes me..
At Ann's home
The two girls were munching on wafers when Ann suddenly asked if Aron had contacted Kim?. Kim calmly replied that he must be busy with his work and there is also no major reason to call them. Upon hearing this Ann's lips twitched and she said, " One doesn't need a reason, to talk with the person they like and no matter what one is never too busy to at least send a text to someone they love."
Kim had a weird expression on her face hearing this, she replied saying that as none of them are the romantic interest of Aron, it is obvious that he is supposed to text or call them sparing time from his busy schedule.
Ann's sat up and looked into Kim's eyes and started laughing, and said, "Kim you must be world's most unromantic and dense girl!! How could you not see, Aron has fallen head over heels for me. " and she started explaining Kim about why she felt Aron liked her. Ann told about their first meeting, then how both of them cooked food at the camp, how Aron appreciated the cake Ann had prepared on his birthday , how he agreed to meet at the coffee shop without any hesitation and listed many more things in details.
As Kim kept listening these, she knew Ann is just day dreaming and have mis interpreted Aaron's humble actions, but she felt a tug in her heart.
Kim couldn't find a reason but she found the reasoning of Ann more and more irritating and less laughable. Kim couldn't stop thinking about, the occasional texting between her and Aron. She was initially cautious while talking with Aron, but gradually she became more comfortable talking with him, though their contact was through occasional phone calls, some text and few group hangouts, and she felt Aron was really a humble and nice person. She was still skeptical about a Tycoon being so friendly with them.
While Kim was lost in her thoughts, Ann held and her hand and said, " Why would a tycoon show so much of interest in us, inviting to his birthday, treating us so well?. There can be only two explanations one he has some ulterior motive of using us to complete his mission like in thriller movies or else he is love with one of us like those K prop dramas." Since we are not of any use regarding money or intelligence, the only valid explanation is Aron has fallen in love. And who in the world would like a girl like you absolutely no girly charm, so it must be me... Ann chukled saying this.
Kim listened to her rolled her eyes and said, " Okay dear if it is so, I will be the happiest being the bridesmaid. "
The two girls then chatted for a while did some skin care and finally when to bed. Though Kim was not convinced by Ann's explanation, still the question of why a tycoon would mingle with them, constantly flashed on her mind. But she finally let go of the thoughts and drifted to sleep.
