Chapter 125: Why I always end up with his room!?
Tang Xi wakes from her sleep and felt so weak. She mutters herself helplessly looking around "Why I always end up with his room!?".
She subconsciously gets nervous and looks beside her. She sighs and relaxes the empty side of the bed. She frowns "But how did I-?" and recalls last night incidents.She looks at the time and its already 11 AM.
She gets flashes of the nightmare and panics "Jing...". She gets down from the bed and walks out of the room anxiously. Her mind is filled with one moment where Jing disappeared right before her eyes.
She opens Lu Yei's room and found Lu Yei playing alone in the room. Aunt Song was helping her.
Tang Xi couldn't hold her anxiety anymore "Aunt Song...Where is Jing?".
Lu Yei smiles broadly and answers "Aunt Xi, he went out with Daddy".
Out? But where?
Aunt Song looks at her nervous and asks "Young Miss? Why do you look pale? Are you unwell?".
Tang Xi shook her head "Where did they go?.
Aunt Song says "Young Master said they are going to shop..Little Master told he needed something for his homework".
Tang Xi nods and goes out to call Lu Cheng. She couldn't think of her previous fight with him. He saved her last night too...
Lu Cheng is with Jing and sees his phone ringing. Jing was lying in the back seat sleeping tiredly.
He answers "Hello?".
Tang Xi without thinking of anything blurts out "Where is Jing? When are you coming back?".
Lu Cheng smiles "I am on my way. I think you can see me, if you reach downstairs". Saying so, he stops the car before the old house.
Tang Xi blinks for few seconds to process his words as she woke up just now and her brain took time to understand his 'pleasant surprise'. She runs down and sees Lu Cheng entering the room while Jing was sleeping in his embrace.
She reaches her hand to hold Jing but Lu Cheng stops "He is tired ..Let him sleep..".
For the first time Tang Xi felt, her responsibility of Jing has been shared. And she has to stop sometimes and let others take care of Jing. He senses her shock and holds her hand "Lets take him to his room".
She didn't refuse and walked along looking at both of them. Last night she was so sure to end his relationship with him. But now she asked herself 'If I end this relationship, then would Lu Cheng bring another women to take care of Jing? Would he hold her hand too like this?'.
Unreasonable fear sprouted in her heart and she wanted to ignore that for now. She sees him taking care of Jing carefully and her heart was a mess!.
She stares him "Thank you..for last night".
Lu Cheng was staring his phone and looks at her. He says "I told you, no need to thank me".
She doesn't want to argue and asks straight "Last night ...How did you find me there?". None knew that I was out.
He tucks his one hand in his pocket says "I was in a call and saw you sneaking out of the house".
He lied to her completely. Last night he went to talk to her. Seeing her strolling in garden peacefully, he waited for some time to talk to her. But he was so grateful, that he went to her. Otherwise she would have froze to death last night by that nightmare!
He doesn't know why he is angry. May be because of her carelessness of not taking care of herself or his own guilt.
