Chapter 1: THE END OF THE WORLD
Li Ming woke up sweating in his dorm.
'Where am I?'
He got up of his bunk bed and wore his slippers. 'I was just in the middle of being ripped apart by
a zombie.' 'This looks like the dorm I used before the apocalypse started.' Li Ming headed over to a table and fiercely grabbed his iPad and checked the date.
12.00 PM, 12/31/2019.
'The apocalypse starts 12.00 AM, 12/31/2019. Around the world, people will fall asleep from 12.00 AM to 12.00 PM on 1/1/2020. When they wake up they will find that 90% of the world's population have turned into zombies.'
Li Ming checked his wallet only to find that he only had a 100 RMB left. Li Ming was an orphan so he was not as rich as his classmates and only managed to enter this prestigious university through scholarships. He was an outcast in the university also and most of his classmates ignored him.
'I need to buy supplies for the apocalypse but I don't have enough money. What should I do?'
Li Ming decided to sell the electronics in his dorm to earn money. He left the college and went to the second-hand electronics store. Li Ming sold the electronics for a total of 10000 RMB. He then went into the supermarket to purchase 2000 RMB worth of chocolate bars, biscuits, beef jerky, and medical supplies, and filled them into his backpack that was customized for survival. Then he went to the black market to purchase a samurai sword and dagger which he strapped to his thigh. He also bought an outfit, gloves, and military boots that were highly resistant to zombie bites and scratches which used up the remainder of his money. Li Ming was an expert in using weapons since he had lived ten years into the apocalypse. He checked his watch.
3.00 PM, 12/31/2019.
Three hours had gone by when he purchased his supplies. Li Ming concealed his weapons and went back to his dorm. When he got back to his dorm he equipped his supplies and played video games until he fell asleep. Li Ming woke up to a scream in the hallway so he checked his watch.
12:00 PM, 1/1/2020.
Li Ming left his dorm and engaged the zombie. Before, the zombie could react its head was already on the floor.
"System initiated."

A transparent screen appeared in front of Li Ming.
