Chapter 52: Fifty-Two
After all of that I had stormed to my room, furious at everyone, or at least on the surface. When I arrived in my room after that show I had immediately started to gather papers and detailed everything I knew about the raid on my office. I knew better then to assume nothing new could be found, especially with the bomb which had been dropped on me earlier... Too many things line up, I don't believe in coincidences, I doubt that my grandfather is the master mind, not smart enough, so who is pulling the strings? I sat up as realization flooded me. The documents I've been analyzing for the king! It's been right in front of me! I jolted upright and after gathering the papers in my arms I hurried to my office. I knew what I was doing was suspicious but I knew this was more important than my image. If I am right...

After arriving in my office and locking the door I started to search through the papers. I remembered one territory that had been incredibly bland, nothing missing or forgotten far too average. It wasn't prestine like others and it wasn't filthy from corruption like others. I knew something was wrong but having no evidence I had placed it aside to come back too... Aha! Here they are! Marquis Casofer, I wonder what I can dig up on you if I really try? I hope I can prove your involvement somehow, because I highly doubt the possibility that you aren't the culprit! You will pay for my poor office and poisoning me! Ahaha! S-SHUT UP! I am not evil! Why are you guys so mean to me? I have been in so much trouble because of this guy, he needs to suffer! And he will!

A week later I sat in my office with a detailed list and evidence of all I could find on the man. It was incredibly little and could be passed off on to his subordinates. This only furthers my suspicions on this man, covering his rear so clearly! Well, I suppose I need to go-to the king then and explain my suspicions to him, but I wonder if he'll believe me, or even trust me. I didn't go to him originally because I figured he would write my suspicions off but it seems I have no choice. Dear me, I hope I can convince him...
