I was looking out of the window and down towards the people who were walking on the path to the school's main entrance. There were many different people here in this school since this was a school for the best both academically and, you know, sports. Not just anyone can get in here because you have to be exceptional to even try to get in here. And even then it isn't certain.
Suddenly I heard my name get shouted. "Luke! Come up here and solve this problem."
When I heard the teacher's voice I walked up to the blackboard and began writing the answer to the math problem like it was not even a challenge. I made it look easy as always.
And right after I was done with that I looked at the teacher and he just nodded which made me go back to my seat since I had gotten the teacher's approval and solved the problem perfectly without any trouble at all.
Class eventually ended which made me stand up and walk out of the classroom with Myra and James right on my heels. But what we didn't notice while we were walking out of the class was that a lot of girls eyes were fixated on my back.
When we got outside of the school on the stony path that led into the school and out we saw a handsome man who was walking towards us with a big smile on his face.
When he was about three feet away from us he said while he was still smiling, "Hey Myra, do you want to walk home with me? I want to speak with you about something."
Myra frowned and glanced at me for a second before answering, "Sorry Uriel, I can't do that today. I am going to hang out with Luke and James today. So bye."
She began walking away with me and James following right behind her when Uriel grabbed her arm. "Myra, this is really important. It is about our families." When he said that Myra mysteriously turned to look at him and frowned.
She nodded. "Alright." Then she turned to me and James and said, "Sorry guys. We won't be able to hang out today." She then walked away while every guy other than me stared at Myra and Uriel's backs with jealousy.
I sighed and walked away with James as I was trying to distract him by planning where to go now that it was only the two of us. We talked about Café Rose which was a not so well known café. But the stuff they had was amazing and it also had a relaxing atmosphere which was a plus.
When we arrived at the café we sat down at a table and a waitress began to take our order. James ordered a single cup of coffee while I ordered a cake and some earl green tea. It is the tea for royals after all!
After we had been eating in silence for a while James suddenly said, "So, what do you think Myra and Uriel are talking talking about?"
I looked up at him and saw worry and fear all over his face. I smiled gently. "Don't worry about it James. After all, I think that Myra likes you too."
When he heard my words he began to blush. "I, I don't like Myra at all!" He looked away with a slight pout on his face which made me laugh a little.
"Hahaha. As I said James, don't worry about it. Do you know why?" I asked him and he looked up at me. I continued with a smile on my face, "It is just love."
I walked home alone after me and James had eaten together in the café. The streets were dark and I could feel the cold night air on my skin as I looked around and saw that no one was here. So I took out my earphones and put them on.
And that was when I heard a voice, "Luke, help... me..." When I looked behind me I saw Myra with scratches and bruises all over her. Blood was also dripping down her face.
I gulped as I saw her body which also made me shake out of fear. I could feel that I was out of breath just because of the sight. But I just clenched my teeth together as I tried to take a step closer which gave me an even clearer look at her body.
She had a black leather jacket on and big, black high heels as well as some tight pants which emphasized her butt. But I could also see a big red mark on her hip. And that was when I saw her gradually closing eyes. She was losing consciousness!
I immediately ran over and lifted her up into my arms as I ran towards the nearest hospital as fast as I could. I could feel my heartbeat increase as I ran while panic and fear were clear in my eyes. But I didn't think. I didn't care. I just hoped she was alright.
But right at this moment I didn't notice that there was a handsome man with brown hair and eyes who was watching me run through these dark and lonely streets and alleys.
