Chapter 45: Betrayal
Hayato was seeing the Heroes with a cold face, completely ignoring their reaction but in his mind, he was in doubt after he saw their faces

The moment that Hayato heard her he frowned with anger, activating his Mangekyou Sharingan and covering his Katana with his Chidori
" The Mangekyou Sharingan! Everyone! Don't look him in the eyes! " Akira turned to see Hayato's feet and Maya does the same but the rest of them closed their eyes
" What? Are you scared now? You don't want to fight me you f*cking cowards? " Hayato said with a calm voice but a very cold face as he began to walk towards them
" Hayato " Alyra whispered as she extended her left hand trying to stop Hayato ' Why are you so enraged with them? '
Hayato suddenly starts to run toward them at full speed and just before he arrives he throws his sword at Kaori
" Watch out! " Yelled Akira and he tackles Kaori moving her from the path of Hayato's sword but *STAB* " Urgh..! " A knight behind them doesn't even have the time to react and the sword pierced his chest from side to side and he falls to the ground lifeless

Akira and Kaori watched the dead knight with horror just like the rest of them but the only one who reacted differently was Maya she saw what happened with a face full of surprise

" but before he could end his yell he noticed that Hayato was in the air making very quick hand seals and when he finished Hayato said with a cold voice " Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu ( Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu ) " a large fireball comes from Hayatos mouth moving towards them very fast
" Goddamit! Speed Boost! " Akira screamed then stands with Kaori in his left arm shaking in fear, then Akira runs towards Wallace's direction and grabs his wrist thanks that he was the one closest to him, finally he jumped as far as he can with both of them in his hands. Maya just make a long quick jump ignoring every one of the knights that were near her
Then *BOOM* " Gah!! " The White Knights yelled in agony when the fireball hit them, after a few seconds the fire and dust disappeared and the knights were on the ground burned, and even charcoaled

" Damn you! " Wallace made an angered face and he began to run toward Hayato leaving Kaori and Akira behind

" Ha! " *CLANK* *CLANK* *CLANK* Their swords clashed a few times until Hayato grabbed Akira's wrist making him stop then *PAM* " Ugh! " he kicks him in the stomach and throws him towards Kaori
" Akira-Kun! " Kaori finally reacted and she aims her staff at Hayato " Fire Rain! " small red vortices appear above Hayato, from where small fireballs appeared, falling against him
" .... " Hayato sees the fireballs falling toward him with a calm face and he starts to jump all over the place avoiding every one of them
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG* The fireballs exploded at the contact to the ground leaving small craters but the small red vortices keep appearing above him
Kaori keeps her staff aimed at Hayato as she helps Akira to stand up " That will only work as a distraction, are you ok Akira-Kun? "
Akira gets up with a concerned expression " If we want to live... We have to win... but he doesn't even take us seriously, we need to find a way to escape from him "
" Sure, good luck with that " Maya said with sarcasm
Kaori turns to see Maya with an enraged face and she says " At least he is doing something! you... you are just standing there without doing anything! hmm? " The explosions stopped and they turn to see Hayato who was walking toward them frowning
Maya doesn't even turn to see her, she keeps her eyes on Hayato then she says with a serious face " His energy it's becoming colder, darker with each passing second, that only means one thing "
" ....!! " Akira makes an expression of horror " We have to leave this place now! Great Speed Boost! " He takes Kaori and Wallace who was still on the floor and he runs as fast as he can towards the exit, only Maya stayed there looking at them expressionless
Suddenly *BOOM* a giant purple skeletal hand slammed the ground in front of them making Akira stop, the skeletal hand blocks their path completely, everyone in the room had astounded faces when they notice where it came
" What is that!? " Said Dye with amazement
" I don't know " Said Wade with a frowning expression
Maya frowned after she saw that and thinks ' I knew it, the Susanoo '
" You will not escape " Hayato smiled evilly as his body emitted purple light and smoke, he walked towards the entrance and the giant skeletal hand disappeared
Akira sees Hayato with anger and yells " Damn you! why do you want to kill us?! "
" ..... " Hayato grinned coldly and Akira grits his teeth leaving Kaori and Wallace then he yells " Blazing Warrior!! " his body started to emit red light and some veins popped on his temples, then he charged toward Hayato swinging his black sword " Fire Reinforcement! " His sword now emits fire
Hayato keeps his cold grin as he sees him approach him fast "It's useless " then he raises his katana covered with his Chidori *CLANK* their swords clashed and they began to exchange attacks with a great speed
*CLANK* *CLANK* *CLANK* Every attack that Akira made was evaded or stopped so he yells in frustration " DAMN IT!!! " but he keeps attacking Hayato in desperation
" Ha " Hayato chuckled mockingly and *PAM* " Ugh! " he punched Akira in the face with his right hand making him bleed from his mouth and nose, Akira takes a few steps backward and Hayato jumped towards him then *PAM* " Ack! " he kicks him in the stomach with great strength that the impact sent him flying
" Akira-Kun!! Great Fire Ball!! " Kaori raised her red staff again and a huge fireball appeared in front of her " GO! " She yelled and the fireball begins to move in Hayato's direction
Hayato stayed still making a cold face seeing the fireball then " *BOOM* the fireball hits him rising fire and dust in his position
Alyra wanted to run towards Hayato but Wade grabbed her shoulder stopping her, she turns to see him with surprise but when she saw the serious expression on Wade's face she stayed still once again
" Akira-Kun " Kaori runs towards Akira and she kneels to hug him, then she turned to see Maya " Maya! you idiot! why are you still standing? fight him! " Kaori yelled with anger
" ..... " Maya moves her lifeless but beautiful emerald eyes to see Kaori, she was seeing her like she was seeing a bug
" ..... " Kaori frowns with some small tears in her eyes then she hugs Akira tightly with shaking hands
Wallace, who was a little far from them, sees Maya with incredulity " My Lady "
Then a cold voice sounds " That's all you got, maybe a little pressure will make all of you fight better " from the huge dust cloud the big purple skeletal hand reappeared and it extended until it grabbed Wallace, besides, a rib cage was surrounding Hayato he was completely intact from Kaori's attack
Wallace extended his hands trying to stop the big purple skeletal hand who is grabbing him and he screamed with fear " Gah! what is this!!! "
Akira got up slowly to yell with anger " Release him! you bastard! "
Hayato moves Wallaces closer to him as he turns to see Akira with a cold smile and says " Come on Heroes, save him! " then *CRACK* Wallace's arms finally broke from the pressure
" AAHHHHH!!!!!!!! " Wallace screamed very loudly and Hayato made the big skeletal hand disappear
" Ack " after falling Wallace turns to see Maya " Help me... my lady... " Wallace said with a pained expression, but " GAH! " Hayato stabbed him in the back with his katana
" Don't move, I will take care of you after your friends...Ugh... " Hayato makes a pained expression and covers his eyes with his hands when he opened them again Maya was in front of him making a cold face ready to cut him with her sword that was emitting a white smoke
Maya swings her sword aiming for Hayato's face " Consecutive Slayer Slash! "
" ....!? " Hayato sees her with surprise and bends his head back, dodging the fatal strike but she cut his face causing a small injury on his right cheek
*SWOOSH* *STAB* Maya makes a sword thrust and she pierces Hayato's left shoulder
" Ugh... " Hayato makes a pained expression and he kicks her on the stomach, but she had her left arm protecting her stomach so the kick didn't do much, but still she took a few steps back
" ....!? " Dye was about to interfere this time but Hayato yelled at her " I told you that the Heroes are mine! stay there! " Dye stops and sees Hayato with surprise
" Good job, Maya-san! " Akira appeared next to Maya and they started to attack together
' Damn, she took me completely by surprise ' Thought Hayato when Maya and Akira attacked him repeatedly with their black swords, and then both of them jumped backward suddenly

" Kyaa!! " Kaori was sent flying by the impact leaving a few marks of burn all over her body
" Kaori!! you bastard!!! " Akira yelled in anger after she was sent flying
Akira and Maya keep attacking for a few minutes, kicking, punching, and swinging the swords without any result even when Hayato has one eye closed and his left arm is bleeding
' That Sharingan makes him almost invincible, I have to do that now, I would have preferred to do that when he was dead ' Thought Maya with frustration
" Enough " Hayato grabbed Maya and Akira by the wrists and squeezes them with great force " Ah " " Argh " making them release their swords, then he used their own hands to punch their faces, after that, he released them and punch both of them in their stomachs
Maya and Akira retreated a few steps back grabbing their stomachs, finally, Hayato jumped forward and he puts both hands on the ground to then kick them both with his feet sending them near Kaori

" ... " Maya saw them with cold eyes as she stands up
" You are right, Kaori-san, then... one more time!! " Akira said with a face full of resolution and he started to run towards Hayato again, then " KYAAAAAA!!!!! " he heard a heartbreaking scream coming from behind
Akira turns to see behind him with surprise and he saw Kaori being lifted by a yellow light sword that was coming from her stomach, she was kicking in panic, but her feet didn't even touch the ground
" NOOO!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING???!!!! " Akira screamed in panic
" I was waiting for this, since the moment we arrived in this world " Maya was the one who was raising Kaori with a sword made with magic, she had a very satisfied smile then she said " Sword Trident! " Two more sharp swords come from both sides of the sword and they pierced Kaori's body from side to side again
Hayato deactivated his Sharingan and he was very surprised by what is he seeing
