CREEK! The wide, clear, glass door opened. Inside, there were lots of children wearing what seemed to them to be very formal attire.
"Why are all these people wearing uniforms?" The billiard-lover asked. A girl with shiny, blue hair and and angry expression on her face slapped him on the back. "Ouch!" Gold flinched. She scolded, "We're in a school, remember, mister?" "I know that!!! Now, you don't have to be so mean, Super-serious gal!" That comment just made the blue-haired girl, Crystal cast death glares at the boy.
"Guys, if this is a school, there must be a principal's office, right?" Emerald asked, "I'm certain there must be one around here. In fact, there SHOULD be one."
"Yup," Red confirmed, "And it's right over there!" He pointed to a gray door that appeared to be made out of marble. There was a label stating 'PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE' right above the door.
He swung it open roughly, slamming it against the wall only to be reminded by none other than his rival and best friend, Green. "Shhh! We're in a school! Do you and Gold even remember!?" He scolded. Red yelled out in annoyance, "I don't know about Gold, but of course I do!" Green closed his mouth, "Shut up! We are literally standing in front of the principal's office!" "Guys, do you hear something?" A girl with luxurious, brown hair named Blue asked.
Footsteps can be heard approaching them. Just as they tried to step back, a large, shadowy figure stood still in front of them.
"Dammit, too late." Red mumbled. There was now a tall, well-dressed man sporting a gray tuxedo and crimson tie in front of them.
"Hello," he spoke politely, "Do you need something?"
Green rolled his eyes, "Great, Red. Thanks to you, we're all now in big trouble."
"Who says you didn't cause it too?" Blue had a cheeky smirk on her face.
"Stay out of this, pesky girl." If you knew Green well enough, you would know that he often calls Blue nicknames to get her to be quiet. Sometimes so much as to make the name calling annoying. Not that Blue isn't annoying herself too.
"Is there something you are here for?" The man continued.
Red stammered, "Uhh…well yeah… uh...uh...this IS a school, right?"
"Don't ask stupid questions, you moron! It states the answer clearly at the entrance!" Green snapped.
"Yes, it is." The man replied, "Are you new here? Are you transfer students?"
A girl who was rather wild and insane whom they address as Sapphire interrupted her idol before he could even speak, "Uhh…well…yeah… What else would we be and why would we come here if we aren't?" Red was about to complain only for his mouth to be covered by Sapphire.
"I'll hafta cover for you since ya don't know how to prevent things from spillin' out. So just shut up and play along with whatever I say, 'kay?" She quietly whispered while grinding her sharp, fanged teeth. Red gulped and nodded nervously.
"Oh, very well, then! You may come in." The man welcomed the Dexholders. They walked into the room in an orderly manner.
"You seem a little worried, Red." Ruby asked. "What's on your mind?" "Nothing. I'm just fine. You don't need to worry about me." He replied with an anxious face. "It's just Sapph. You know that I like to be honest. What if he finds out?"
Ruby raised an eyebrow and smiled a little. "Well, that's Sapphire Birch for you. Or maybe I should say, Sapphire Bitc--!" Red punched him lightly on his back. "Uh, Ruby, I think she can here you. She's literally right behind us, Roob! And you're gonna call her a dog?"
"What if she didn't hear me? But even if she did, I still think she kinda deserved being called that after all of the times she beat me up. I'm sure she won't mind. After all, she kind of acts like a dog herself!"
Ruby and Red giggled, their fists covering their mouths.
"WHAT WAS THAT!?" Sapphire clenched her fists and raged.
"Ah boy… Here she comes… RUN!!!!! WAAAAHHH!!!"
"I AM SOOOO GONNA GET REVENGE ON YOU FOR THIS!!! I SWEAR, VENGEANCE WILL BE MINE!!! MARK MY WORDS, PRISSY BOY!!!"
Sapphire chased Ruby around the room, almost catching up to him a couple times.
The man coughed, "Are we done yet?"
Ruby and Sapphire were in the middle of a brawl, which Sapphire obviously had the upper hand in, before they were stopped by the man. "Uh, yeah." They both rushed in front of the man in the gray tuxedo.
"Umm, getting back on the topic before, senior Red, are you sure you're absolutely fine?" Emerald asked with a concerned expression plastered on his face.
Red sighed, "I told you, I'm just worried that man over there will find out that we're not from around here, and he'll probably call the authorities. We could get killed!"
Emerald mentally face-palmed. "Senior, I think that's taking things a little too far. I know, we could die here. We don't know anything about this world. But, I mean, we did nothing wrong...yet." Emerald glanced at Gold then shifted his eyes back to Red. "Besides, as far as I know, nobody is purely innocent!"
A young male with long, red hair named Silver then patted his senior's shoulder, "Sure, honesty is a virtue, but in times like these, you have to keep some things secret. We won't let it out. Trust me. Don't worry, I assure you we won't."
"That's right!" Gold grinned, slamming his billiard cue on his back.
"That's easy for you to say." Red frowned, looking to the floor covered by an ocean blue carpet. "You're excellent at keeping secrets, Silv. Heck, we didn't even know you were kidnapped by the Masked Man when you were younger until he, himself, directly informed Gold.
"I'd really appreciate if we drop the 'Mask of Ice' subject here." Silver sighed and put his hands in his pockets.
"Yeah," Blue mumbled, "It's bringing back nightmares. It's your fault if we can't sleep tonight, Red."
Red apologized, "Whoops, sorry. Totally forgot." He ran a hand through his jet black hair and scratched his head.
Gold put on his trademark grin, "Let's just enjoy our time left in this world! After all, everyday's a celebration!"
Red nodded in agreement. He finally had a smile back on his face and eyes shining like fire, as red as the sun, just like his name. He was determined to get back to the Pokémon World.
The man sat on a fluffy, velvet-covered chair. It looked kind of like a throne, honestly. He pounded his wrinkled fists on his desk.
"So, what can I help you with?" He asked in a friendly manner.
Gold jumped forward, "We'd like to!! U-uh… uh… I've got nothing…"
Crystal swiped him away. "Um, excuse me, sir we're new here and would like to enroll. Any idea of where the principal might be?"
"You've been standing in front of him the entire time."
"What!? So you mean YOU'RE the principal!?"
Crystal covered Gold's jaw-dropped mouth after he yelled on the top of his lungs in disbelief.
"The hell, Gold!" Green muttered to the boy in the red hoodie.
The man, well, principal, stood up, "Well, all of you would need to fill out forms about personal details first. Then I can assign you to your classes and dorms."
"Alright…", all the dexholders answered in harmony.
//1 hour later...//
The principal came back to the room after sorting out the papers only to find the dexholders slouching on the couches and fancy chairs of the office.
He gave a cough.
"Who's there!" Ruby woke up and made a karate pose.
The man professionally walked towards them. "I've sorted the papers out and talked with your teachers."
"So, what classes are we in?" Red asked, raising his brow up.
The principal announced, "Red Satoshi, Green Oak, Blue Midori, you'll be in the 10th grade, high school.
"Yellow Caballero, you'll be in 8th grade, junior high school.
Gold Hibiki, Silver Sakaki, Crystal Kotone, you'll be in the 7th grade, junior high too.
Ruby Yuuki, Sapphire Birch, you'll be in 6th grade, also junior high in our school.
And Emerald Ochitsuita, you'll be in 5th grade, elementary school.
"Does that all sound good to you?"
"Yeah." all the dex holders freshened up.
"Poor Rald, he's the only one who's still in elementary." Ruby laughed, only to be slapped by his neighbour, Sapphire.
"Sorry, Em, Ruby is REALLY mean and rude sometimes."
Ruby stomped his foot, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN!? HOW DOES THAT EVEN COUNT AS BEING MEAN!? OR RUDE!? PLUS, RALD HAS NO PROBLEM WITH IT. THAT DOES. NOT. COUNT!!!"
Sapphire countered, "NOW SHUT THE HELL UP BEFORE I FREAKIN' SMACK YOU DOWN!!! IT COUNTS!"
"Does not."
"Does."
"Does NOT"
"DOES."
"DOES NOT!!"
"DOES!! OKAY, WEENIE!?!?"
"Crap," Emerald sighed, "Here we go again…Now she's gonna whip his ass. Why the heck does this always happen?"
He stared at the two while they quarrel and fight like a bunch of Primeapes.
Crystal, who stood beside Emerald spoke, "Well, I don't know, but this duo is... interesting..."
Green stepped in, "QUIT FIGHTING!"
"Great, a few days ago, it was 'quit flirting' and now it's 'quit fighting'. This pair is REALLY messed up..." Emerald rolled his eyes.
"Speaking of pair, that reminds me, sir, what about our dorms? Who will we be rooming with?" Red questioned.
"Well… you will be with--"
