Chapter 4: A TEASE
Oh my...
Mind went blank.
Devon did not expect to have a hot guy neighbor.
O-oh
Having no clue of who was the guy, Devon pretended and politely acknowledge the guy.
"Hi! I'm good now. Just got back this morning."
"Glad to hear that. It's been a month since that drastic accident of yours. You're lucky to have survive death twice."
At the back of his mind, Devon is so fangirling on this guy. But he's lost when he said that he had an accident twice.
'When and what happened the first time?', he thought.
Lost in his own thoughts, his neighbor suddenly invited him for a party in his house the next week, Friday, which is 7 days from now.
"I hope you and your fiancee,Nicole, could come along. "
"Yeah, sure. I will tell her about it."
After that short chat, Mr. Neighbor-I-don't-know-who went disappear into his house. Devon did not miss the look when the neighbor mentioned Nicole. That neighbor like his fiancee but he doesn't feel any jealousy at all which is not normal in a relationship. He just prayed that if ever Nicole decided to ditch him and pursue with that neighbor is perfect so that he will no longer feel guilty for dragging her in his messy life. Another bugging thing about the moment is that he seem to be attracted to this mister.
'No-oh, Mr. Neighbor is for Nicole', Devon thought while shaking his head. He felt conflicted between his morals and his feeling towards that neighbor. In order to wash off his attention to the matter, he went inside and do some few light exercise and then take shower.
Before he went to bed, he remembered the words of his neighbor about him being into an accident twice. In front of the mirror, he inspect his body there are traces of different wounds and in different sizes. He got scars under his breast, pelvis, on his hind legs, and arms. Amazed by how miraculously he's alive after all the wounds he had got.
On another note, the neighbor whom he don't know thy name is hot damn gorgeous. A feeling of excitement and admiration arouse like how a teenager would do. But after, Devon remembered that he should not be feeling such thing because its too awkward for him to harbor such feeling. This puts him into a dilemma on what to do. Somebody must help him through this.
"To whom shall I ask about this feeling? When I don't know anyone from here."
The feeling of dread is eating him up. So he berate himself to think of a plan. Like an answered prayer as he went up his room there is a laptop.
"Yeah right, if you don't know anything try ask Mr. Google."
Such a brilliant idea he think. He type in his questions and he was given lots of sites to choose from.
