Chapter 496: An Idea So Crazy, It Just Might Work... Or Get Him Killed

"So... yeah. I have nothing," Laz said as he sat there at the small cafe with Jill, sipping a coffee. Jill had some sort of fruity drink and was looking around while Laz racked his brain to come up with some way to do something. While he was originally thinking to check this place out and see if the rumors were true, that was only because he was looking for something, anything, to focus on.

He was getting stronger which really was the only thing A'ruya had told him to focus on, but as for how to proceed and what to do with that strength, he had no idea. HIs targets were still out of reach, not having any clue where his parents were or his grandpa. What was more, they didn't know where he was either which lead to a vicious cycle of self doubt for Laz.

'Maybe they came to try to find me? Maybe they are dead and they tried to contact grandpa but because he was taken and I left, there was no where to send the message to?'
