Chapter 45: Chapter 45: City Centre
There were torches at every building lighting up the floor. Stone buildings, tents, and small stores. But there was not a single soul.
It was a desert town, it reminded me of home where I came from.
The buildings were made of sand dunes, with tiny holes to let the wind into the buildings, and surrounding all the buildings was tall walls made of rock. There was no way I could possibly leave.
"Candidates, welcome. I am so sorry about before. We went to the wrong test venue. That was actually the last venue. So hopefully you didn't see too much of it because we are going to save it for last."
"With that out of the way and our understanding cleared. Welcome to the stealth test. Welcome to the City of Morocco."
"The city of love, the city of joy, but now known as the war torn city that has disappeared from the world for centuries. Only saved by the academy."
"There is not a single soul here, no residents, no animals, no food. Nothing. You may remove your blindfolds."
"There's not even a close by city around here. If you are planning to escape."
"As you are aware, we are doing the stealth test today, feel free to use all the resourses available at your disposal. This could be the weapons you have brought with you, or it could be the weapons or common items that can be found in the city. Overall, it is a stealth test, so I would recommend to use all the shadows and darkness's surrounding you to hide."
"As you are aware, each of you have been split by a number between 1 to 4. This is important as this signifies the part of the city you are in. Team 1. You are lucky you are within The Great church. Team 2. The Palace. Team 3. The Market Place and Team 4 The City Centre."
"The goal of todays challenge, is to get yourself four coins and pay yourself out of the section you are in. Only catch is once you have gotten all 4 coins, a cross symbol will appear across your chest. It doesn't matter where you go or hide that cross will stay. So, it's in your best interest to find one of the exits before other candidates see you."
"Why you may ask? Well if you see any candidate with thde cross feel free to rob them. They will definitely bring you closer to exiting."
"One last thing, the only way out of this place is to get to the bell tower. You know that tower that is in the middle of the city. The really tall one?"
