Glossary of Cultivation
People cultivate by absorbing Essence from the environment. They can convert the Essence into Force of their own Laws such as Fire Force, Sword Force, Palm Force, Fist Force etc. The mastery over essence increases as one goes to a higher realm. Cultivation stages are arranged as follows:
FOUNDATION REALM
Body Tempering- Body is tempered to the fullest extent, bringing out all the capabilities of the human body to the peak. (Level 1 to 9, level 10 may be achieved under special conditions)
Qi Condensation- Dantian is able to store the Qi absorbed through the body. Qi concentration increases each level and finally it forms the Qi sea.(Levels 1 to 9). Special level 10 can be achieved under special conditions, strength is equivalent to early Core Formation realm experts.
Core Formation- The Qi sea is condensed to form Martial Core. The Martial Core strengthens by compressing itself and accommodating more Qi. Level distribution changes to Early, Mid, Late and Peak.
Special level Supreme may be achieved through special means.
HEAVEN REALM
Gazing at Heavens- At this stage, cultivators are able to comprehend Laws to a small extent and are able to imbue Essence into their attacks, amplifying their power by several times. It is divided into Early, Mid, Late, Peak and Supreme. Supreme state can be achieved by anyone who had reached the Supreme Core Formation Stage.
Reaching the Heavens- Cultivators are able to glide over short distances and their comprehension of Laws is deepened. They are now able to control Essence outside of their bodies to attack over short areas. It is divided into Early, Mid, Late, Peak and Supreme.
Piercing the Heavens- Cultivators of this stage can be said to be the strongest among the Mortals. They can freely fly over the air and use the Essence to their fullest extent. They can also create Law Domains which can strengthen their Law Force further. It is divided into Early, Mid, Late, Peak, Supreme.
Rising beyond Heavens- It is the last stage before one can become a true Immortal. Practitioners at this level can dominate entire worlds of the minor realm by themselves. Their understanding of Laws reaches the highest stage possible for Mortals. It is divided into Early, Mid, Late, Peak and Supreme. Upon reaching Peak or Supreme state, they have to face the Tribulation of Heavens to become an Immortal if they pass or Half-Immortal if they fail.
The Tribulation of Heavens forms the Immortal Core by melting and imbuing the Martial Core with Immortal Essence.

TECHNIQUES
Techniques are of four types:
Cultivation Techniques- These techniques are the most important technique and are mandatory for every cultivator as these help the cultivator absorb Essence better. It helps the purify and compress the Essence in order to be stronger than Demonic Beasts in the same realm.
Body Techniques- These techniques are used to strengthen individual body parts or the entire body as a whole. They are of various types such as Eye Techniques, Foot Techniques, Physique Techniques and Arm Techniques. These mostly improve the defense of the body and strengthen physical attacks but have little or no effect on magical attacks.
Fighting Techniques- These techniques are used to enable a cultivator to control and channel the Essence inside their body as magical attacks or into weapons to strengthen them. They are of different types, such as Fist Techniques, Palm Techniques, Magical Techniques, Weapon techniques like Sword technique, Fan Technique or Hammer Technique etc.
All techniques are classified into Human, Earth, Sky, Heaven, God and Supreme types.
The higher the level, the harder they are to comprehend and higher the strength.
The understanding of a technique is divided into: Entry, Lesser Understanding, Greater Understanding, Perfection, Beyond Perfection and Creation stages. Understanding a technique to Creation stage allows the cultivator to bring out the secrets of the technique and evolve it to suit their own needs.
