Chapter 2: Prologue part 2
"I see, so you chose to leave your reality and go to other place and seek what you truly wish, which is your parents that abandon you." Watanuki understands Ryuuji's feelings, since he too, didn't meet his parents and live his life alone.
To Ryuuji's surprise, Watanuki suddenly stands and go to the inner house. 'Is he upset that I chose to reincarnated besides this world?' He is being paranoid since this is the first time that he walks out to his customer, based on his knowledge in the manga of course.
When Ryuuji loses his patience for every second he waits, Watanuki suddenly appears with a laptop in tow. He approach Ryuuji and put the laptop in his front and He look at Watanuki with eyes full of curiosity.
"As far as I know, my wish is to leave this place and reincarnated in other world, not a laptop." With a hint of irritation in his tone, Ryuuji sarcastically tell Watanuki his disappointment.
*chuckle* "My friend, you have to relax for a bit. The laptop is connected to your wish." He didn't meant to make Ryuuji angry but Watanuki couldn't help himself to laugh a little.
"Of course, I'm going to grant your wish, which is reincarnation. But first, we have to apply first your parents blessings." After Watanuki said this, the laptop finishes to boot and a window program suddenly appears.
This program somehow has a list of very familiar but different words. Watanuki stands up and went behind of Ryuuji to demonstrate the program.
"As you can see, your parents gives you a blessing when you somehow wish to be reincarnated." Ryuuji can't help but be shock at Watanuki's statement. "I told you, there's no accident in this world, only inevitability. And I know that in this conversation, you realize that your parents aren't normal." Watanuki smiles at him, making Ryuuji suddenly snorts at his remark.
"Yeah, I know. This development is so cliche that I think that I might be inside in anime world." He still want to believe that he is real but the truth is in front of him, talking to him and making him see a glimpse of his origin.
"Okay, this program will give you an opportunity to have an advantage in your second life. As you can see in the window, you have to fill up the textbox of Inheritances. Your parents are quite generous and gives you 5 inheritances, you can freely choose to your liking." Watanuki demonstrates on how to use the program and inform him that his choices was, of course, based on his hobbies, which is anime.
Ryuuji couldn't describe what he feels right now since he was given a chance to become somewhat a main character-ish. After he learns how to operate this godly program, he didn't mind Watanuki and focus on the screen to choose his own poison, carefully.
Of course, he realizes that whatever he chooses now, there is no turning back. Unless he died once again and he meets Watanuki before his soul perish. Upon choosing wisely, he now decided that this 5 inheritances will help him in case he will reincarnated in a world full of hardships.
[Itachi Uchiha Inheritance: An avenger who kills his clan for the sake of his village and his brother. Upon choosing this inheritance, you will gain Sharingan with three tomoe and Mangekyo Sharigan, which are Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu and Susanoo. You will also be adept in fire infinity, Shuriken and Kunai techniques as well as Illusion techniques.]
[Might Guy Inheritance: The green beast of Konoha full of springtime of youth. Upon choosing this inheritance, you will become adept in taijutsu and also attain the eight inner gates. You will also inherit his trait of hardworking and his will of fire.]
[Dracule Mihawk Inheritance: A Shichibukai who holds the title of the greatest swordsman of the world. Upon choosing this inheritance, you will gain an access to his splendid swordsmanship. You will also inherit his talent in Observation Haki, Armament Haki and Conqueror Haki.]
[Byakuya Kuchiki Inheritance: A shinigami and the captain of 6th division in the Gotei 13. Upon shoosing this inheritance, you will gain the Zanpakuto, Senbonzakura. You will also become a master in Shunpo and his Kido will make you gain the lightning affinity.]
[Kurapika Kurta Inheritance: A lone hunter that seeks vengeance in Phantom Troupe. Upon choosing this inheritance, you will become a specialist in nen and you will gain his cursed chains. You will also obtain there beautiful scarlet eyes that makes all your abilities enhanced and Kurapika's specific trait of enhanced hearing.]
Watanuki's eyes has full of amusement. He couldn't help himself to imagine what will become of Ryuuji ones these inheritances combines. A monster might be born if he allow this. But true to his nature, he approved all of Ryuuji's choices and prepares his reincarnation.
"I'm just thinking, there are more powerful inheritances that you could have chosen. Like Madara Uchiha, Isaac Netero or Gol D. Roger." Ryuuji understands his point, it is really safer to have all the powers that you can get.
"As you can see, my only goal once I reincarnated into the new world is to live there in peace, not to dominate the entire world. I don't need so much power to achieve that, and I know that my choice will help me to get what I want." He said this to Watanuki with full of determination.
"And to be honest, I'm still afraid that you're against in my inheritances. Even if my choices are not overpowered, all of my choices are very powerful in there perspective, enough to attract powerful entities if they discover me." Ryuuji said full of worries.
"Don't worry, I'm going to be neutral to all of my customers. If you wish to obtain these inheritances then so be it. But it's up to you if you can access all of its abilities. You have to work on that department, since you will be reincarnated again as a baby." Ryuuji hopes that his new parents are lovable and caring and he will never let him alone again.
Watanuki looks at his customer with sympathy since he can relate in his situation. "Any questions, before I reincarnated you to another world?"
"Then if you insist. Did you finally meet Youko again?" Hearing this inquiry, Watanuki becomes dejected and looks at him with sad eyes.
If Watanuki knows him through his parents, Ryuuji also knows him by reading his story. It is cruel when you think how badly he wants to meet Youko when he knows that she's already dead. Even Clow Reed and Fei Wang Reed, who are also a wish granters, couldn't prevent her death.
"Sorry for asking. Okay, when will you let me reincarnate then?" Feeling guilty, Ryuuji tried to divert his attention and make him hurry in transporting him to another world.
The pink hair girl suddenly approach us with a single tea in tow and they looking at me still with deadpan expression.
"Here's your brand new tea." She tries to be polite in him when she served him some tea.
Watanuki instruct him that he needs to drink the tea then he will feel a little bit of headache. A side effect when a living being tries to reincarnate forcefully.
"Here goes nothing!" Ryuuji didn't hesitate to drink the elixir in one gulp. He didn't have to wait longer when the severe headache suddenly kicks in.
He didn't have a time to resist when Ryuuji's eyes shuts down and collapse to the floor. Watanuki looks at the collapse body that slowly crumbles like a dust and let the wind carries his ashes.
"I know it's hard to believe, but your parents did whatever they could to protect you from harm and from your destiny. Now, the waiting game begins." Watanuki's tone of voice becomes serious when he recalls that there will be an impending danger and only he can stop this madness.
