"Your fired." My boss said coldly.
"W-What?" I was shocked, I came to work everyday, on time, and put in my full potential. I never even asked for a raise! Yet I was being fired?
"You heard me, please leave my office and go collect your things." He said again, not even glancing at me.
"Why? Is there something I did? I can fix it! I'll fix it-
"No, but we have too many workers so we need to cut people off, you were just one of the names." He explained.
"One of the names huh?" I muttered under my breath, clenching my fists.
"You can leave now." He repeated with bored eyes. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply.
"Ok. Thank you, it was a pleasure working with you. I exhaled and relaxes my hands. I looked back up at my boss to see he wasn't even bothered to look up. I left his office in a hurry and quickly grabbed my notebooks and other things I left I my desk. Fortunately, I never settled down in the four months I've been working here, so I didn't have much to pack. I looked up to see my coworkers staring at me, it has always been a hard work place but never would I expect to see them smiling at my misfortune. I clenched my fists But quickly relaxed them, this was no time to pick a fight. First I have to find another job. I glanced down at my hands to see that my skin had reddened where my nails dug in. I quickly calmed down and left the office.
The streets were silent except for the small voices from passing people. I kept my head glued to the ground as I remembered the time at the office. I ended up wandering to a nearby park so I sat on the bench thinking.
I worked my butt of every day only to get this? I couldn't take it anymore.
It was hard enough finding a job with decent pay, but what made it worse is the environment. Almost all the jobs I had the people there were rude, held grudges, and made my work there a living hell. And after all that I pushed through, I'd be fired in the end, this was my 4th time experiencing this.
I breathed in slowly and let out big breaths as my hands had started to shake from anger. I had my own blood cut under my nails.
"It's too much.." I muttered to myself.

Two feet were standing in front of me, a body now blocking the sun from hitting me. When I looked up, a man in a grey tux and sunglasses smiled down at me.
"Lovely to meet you miss..?" He said.
"Dotty, my name is Dotty." I replied.
