Chapter 108: Normal Behavior
After taking a hot bath, Alena came out and her eyes met with Damon's. He was looking at her with self-doubt eyes. He badly wanted to know what she was thinking and he didn't wanted a misunderstanding to be the last thing between them. Alena averted her eyes and as usual went to the dressing for her night care routine. Although, she just wanted to hit the bed but because she didn't wanted to have any bigger reaction and show him that she was affected because of his affair.
Damon watched her every move but couldn't say anything because she was behaving normally, he thought she might be angry at him and show her anger but she was only normal. Damon grew a little impatient, never in his life he went this far for anyone but all he got was an unaffected woman. After seeing her in the room, he thought about many worst possibilities and literally run here so that she won't misunderstand but he didn't expect this behavior. He furrowed his eyebrows and lay on the bed, he thought "If she is unconcerned then why should be bothered to explain. Let her thinks whatever she wants and i won't explain anything now".
Alena was busy in her night routine but she was observing Damon and waiting for him to break the ice but seeing him unconcerned, she became furious. She kept her night cream with a loud "thud" on the dressing table to show her anger and went to the sofa. She didn't even switched off the lights and covered herself with the blanket while closing her eyes.
Damon couldn't sleep with lights on and so went to off the main room lights and glanced over the small body on the sofa. She was not moving so he thought "Very good! Here his sleep has gone on a vacation and she is sleeping like a sloth". He gritted his teeth and went to his bed and closed his eyes while cursing his fate with this woman.
