Chapter 85: I want to talk
Next day everything seemed calm but Damon's mother could feel the awkwardness in the air, she knew they have fought again. She just sighed and went along with the breakfast.
On the other hand Alena was thinking hard on how to get over with this contract and then she looked up and met eyes with her mother-in-law and that's when it hit her "the solution". She is now fully prepared to get even with this demon. As usual after breakfast she hopped in his car and started the conversation although she didn't want to but she has no other option.
She said "I have something important to discuss with you". Damon was shocked he stopped typing on the keyboard and looked at her face which showed how serious was she at the moment. He continued typing after replying "Go on".
Alena started "As you know i am here for your mother so it would be good if i get to spent most of the time with her" she paused to look at his face and saw his face becoming serious and continued hurriedly "What i mean is i want to understand the reason behind her accident and her behavior towards me, you also have seen her way of calling me it feels like she knew me from before but its my first time meeting with you guys so i also want to know what is all this situation and for that i need your corporation because at the end we are bound by a contract and i want to be free as soon as possible".
After saying her part Alena suggested "You can just make me work for half time so that half of the time i can spent with mo.. your mother".
Damon roared "Its not like my company will go bankrupt without you working you can spent all your day with mother after all you are just someone i hired to treat my mother".
Alena's mouth twitched she knew she can't expect good manners from him but even so she want to slap him so badly.
