Chapter 24: Alex learned to fly
a bloody battle was taking place inside the acamedy,as Alex stand blankly as he watch the now lifeless Veranda being shredded to pieces my multiple zombie,
reaching his storage he grabbed his "time manipulator v1" this is one of the items that he won in the lottery it have the power to turn back time with a range of 1 hour
playing it with his hand, he now knew the reason why Veranda die, but he didn't know if he can defeat a level 9 mutated zombie or why Mr Harvey haven't taken care of this monster.
"to use or not to use that is the question! "Alex cracked a bitter smile "well,,, a man gonna do what a man gonna right? " setting it to 10 minuted he clicked the start bottom

this gives Alex a bit of excitement he could now time travel using his time manipulator v1 for range of two hours!
after calming down he tried to find the level 9 mutanted zombie but no avail, Veranda was busy killing zombies in front of her without caring about him
Alex calculated the time before the zombie attack Veranda, judging the events happening around him he concluded that it will happen about 5 minutes or so after he killed the level 5 zombies
a while later the three level 4 zombies in front of him was killed bye him once again using his slash and dash

Alex was dumbfounded, he never had thought that killing this zombie for the second time could earn him the same exp,
setting that aside he hurried scanned the area for the sign of the level 9 zombie,but no avail he started to get nervous "where is that zombie? " he murmured
Veranda was now battling against the level 5 zombie seeing this Alex hurriedly dash in front of her side swinging his sword horizontaly beheading the zombie in an instant

Alex didn't say a word after killing the level 5 zombie, he was too concentrated on knowing where direction the level 9 zombie assault will come from.
after a moment or so he sense something moving to there direction in a fast way but he had a hard time pin pointing it , but a while later he yelp " above! "
Veranda was a bit startled by Alex after it killed the zombie that he was battle a moment ago, "is he really a mutant level 2?" she thought puzzledly
but seeing Alex blocked her path she said in a displeased voice "get out of my wa-" but before Veranda could finish her word Alex suddenly kick Veranda's feet making her fall
squatting in the process he hold the falling Veranda in a princess carry position then used all of his force to kicked the ground, he actually do it in a fast and precise manner
*tick* *tud*
after right after Alex jumped away from there position , a normal looking zombie suddenly falled in there previous placed, landing with a *bang*
without advancing to phase 2 a zombie will looked like the same with other low level zombie but you could identify there level by looking at the gem also know as zombie core in there forehead
a level 6 had a core with a size of an small bead and for level 10 they had a core with a size of a ping pong ball, but level 1 to 5 didn't have any them so you could only judge them after battling them
Veranda was startled by Alex fast action she didn't really know what happen, blinking for a few times she found herself being princess carried by him
landing on the ground Alex stared to the zombie that was looking at them with his red eyes ,it didn't move an inch and its seems trying to find a good opportunity to do another attack.
"should I run for it?,Not possible with my speed and my current strength I'm afraid I can't out run it, should I fight I might have 30%chance of winning what if I use lucky beads" Alex asked himself, browsing the system a lucky bead materialized in his left hand
"why did I get my self in this situation!, being a hero really is not my thing"
the zombie is till observing Alex, "he is a bit intelligent than typical zombies"
suddenly he feels some one is tugging his t-shirt "Alex can you put me down now? " Veranda said in a soft voice, being grabbed all of a sudden by a man, has made Veranda in daze, but seeing who is holding her it turned into blush
Alex thought was stopped by her voice, looking down he could see Veranda looking at him angrily
"ow my apologies" Alex hurriedly to put her down, Vernada was about to say something to him but to her suprised Alex who was about to put her down suddenly stop, crashing the bead Alex grabbed her again "
sorry" alex said in a soft voice as he use his force sending Veranda away from him
"aaaaaaaaaah!!! " Veranda yelp
Alex had throwed her because the zombie suddenly leaped in his direction, he hurriedly raised his sword blocking the attack of the zombie

Alex flyed away
