Chapter 24: the black heart of Fang Mimi 1
The next day Gu Chuanli's scandal was all everyone was talking about. Every New agency and Chanel were reporting on recent developments.
Feng Mimi's scandal was completelyswetpt aside by the scandal but that didn't make her feel relaxed at all as the deadline given to her by Madam Jiang was fast approaching and she still hasn't received any good news.
She was already receiving fertility treatments at the clinic. Luckily Jiang Mengyao had traveled on a business trip and was coming back today so there was still a chance that her luck might change.
A lot was hanging on this that she just couldn't stay still not when she remembered that someone had walked in on her and Director Yang.
She has to handle the situation before Mengyao got wind of this. She was about to go mad with worry when she received a call her best friend and manager Lei lan.
She had called her with a much needed good news she had discovered the identity of her surprise guest.
Turns out that she was much closer than she thought. Which saves her the strength of going far to find her when she could bring her over to her location.
This was a very good news indeed. That afternoon when Jiang Mengyao returned home he was so well received by his girlfriend Feng Mimi who seamed happier than she was when they spoke over the phone before her boarded the plane back to S city.
It would seem that her scandal no longer woried her again which may have something to do with the recently popular scandal involving the Cheng and the Xiao family which was currently making rounds.
The next day, Feng Mimi was still asleep by the time he was dressed and headed to work. Which didn't surprised him,she had been insatiable last night.
It was like she was a completely different person gone was the shy innocent girl he knew and in her place was a seductive little kitten. She behaved like a kitten in heat, not that he minded.
It was just that this was the first time that she had taken the initiative to initiate anything. He was so pleased that she had finally gotten more comfortable with him.
He walked out of the room and after having breakfast instructed the maids not to wake her and left for work.
It was a little after 12pm when Feng Mimi woke. She felt so refreshed and happy, things were finally looking up for her.
She had decided to confront Lin Qiaolian today and hopefully by the end of the day she would be able to control the narrative.
She stretched then got down from the bed and began to prepare for the day. When she thought of all she had planned she took care to dress extra cute.
After getting dressed she walked out of the room and headed to the dinning room to have her lunch.
The maids were very professional and always had a meal ready no matter the time of the day.
The Housekeeper Aunt Chu ruled the house with an iron fist, everything was done properly with not a piece out of place.
Feng Mimi was very pleased with how she ran the house too bad they never seemed to get along not even when they first met.
She had always wondered why it was so, that was until Jian Mengyao informed her that Aunt Chu was an old servant under his mother.
Luckily Aunt Chu was very professional and never acted out or one way or the other She would have gotten rid of her by now.
After having her lunch she grabbed her bag, changed out of her house slippers to her 10mm heels and left for set.
The van had already arrived to send her over to the set. Thirty minutes later she arrived on set, got down from the car and headed to the wardrobe to get dressed for her role.
The set was located far from the residential area. After changing into her costume she gave Lei lan a little sign and her plans commerced.
Lin Qiaolian had just returned from a lunch run when her boss Sister Wei informed her that one of the lead actress requested that she applied her make up.
A shiver ran through her entire body as she heard that, she didn't need a slothslayer to tell her just who requested for her.
"What are you waiting for rush over there we haven't got time to waste La. You should be very happy Little Lian it was your idol Feng Mimi that asked for you La" Sister Wei said as she touching up a supporting actress's
make up.
This just proved her suspicion to be true. Feng Mimi had discover who she was and was now out to get her. Lin Qiaolian gently paid the food down on the table and left for Feng Mimi's trailer.
There was no point in hiding Feng Mimi was bound to find her one way or another she might as well get it over with instead of obsessing about everything.
