Chapter 22: The next big scandal 2
Filming a movie or series was a very delicate process that involved a whole lot of people.
The Production crew included the Actors and actresses, the director, the producers, the props team, the camera team, the lightening and special effects team, the stunts team, the wardrobe team, the makeup team, script writer and many others.
All these people worked around the clock to make the production a success. One can't function without the other, everyone worker together like a well oiled machine.
This however was a fact that not many people understood. Most failed to value the effort put in by the rest of the crew apart from the Actors and actresses.
The usual offenders being the actors and actresses who were often times too conceited to see things clearly. No one understood that more than Lin Qiaolian.
After working years in the industry there was no kind of artist she hadn't see or at least she thought so.
That was before she mistakenly came upon the popularily acclaimed Nations fairy Feng Mimi shamelessly having sex with a sleazy Director in the private room of a hotel.
She had been invited to a Class reunion gathering holding in a private room in a hotel located in the lively part of town. This was to be their first gathering after three years of graduation.
She had taken a night leave from the set of [ FATED ] to attend the gathering. They had been planning for a few months now and after going through a market survey they had finally decided on this hotel.
For one the hotel had a large private room and the services were also too notch. It also helped that the hotel was owned by the family of one of her collage classmates so they had booked it for free.
Lin Qiaolian however wasn't so happy with the choice of hotels as the hotel was one of the few frequented by most big shots and Directors who fooled around with actresses and actors due to their discretion.
It was a hotel that catered to their need for discretion as long as you can afford that. A few Production held gatherings here usually when there was a leachious investor or Director involved in the production.
She had been there once or twice for a production she has taken part in. The Entertainment industry though glamorous was a very difficult place to survive.
It was so competitive that one had to be very thick skinned to survive. The actresses had it worse, one can only survive by talent or by following the unspoken rules.
Relying on talent though hard was the safest means to survive, because the moment one obeyed the unspoken rules you could never turn back.
You enback on a journey of no return because in the industry nothing travels fast than gossip and in an industry like this reputation was everything.
After three years in the industry she had see just how far few were willing to go to survive and the result of every decision that she had long since lost her innocence.
But this was something she never expected to be possible. There hadn't been even whispers of this yet it was true.
Feng Mimi like few successful actresses was a pretentious slut who was shameless enough to f*ck an obeaseed ugly older director in a private room while doing drugs.
Lin Qiaolian had arrived at the hotel thirty minutes late an had rushed over to the private room. She had been delayed by an unexpected call from the hospital her brother had a relapse from treatment.
She had rushed over to the hospital and after a private chat with the doctor feeling down she had gone over to the gathering room to drink herself to the semblance of peace.
Her brother had been diagnosed with a rare heart diseases ten years ago and had been receiving treatment since then.
Her brother was the only family she had since their parents dies four years ago. As soon as she arrived at the private room she was punished with two glasses of wine for coming late.
After an hour of drinking she left to relief her in the bathroom. She was on her way back from the bathroom when she lost her way and stumbled into the wrong room to find Feng Mimi and the director in the throb if passion.
She was so shocked and was about to run back out when her phone began to ring. Drawing their attention over to her, when she met eyes with Feng Mimi.
She quickly ran out dragging out her phone from her back. After a five minute Feng Mimi got up from his laps and after arranging her gown she walked over to pick her bag up when she found a strange Identity card.
She picked it up and discovered that it belonged to none other than the annoying little imp who had walked into the room. Thank s was the first time this has happened to her and she really hoped it would be the last.
She was very close to getting what she wanted and this little sneaky rat could change everything. She picked up her phone and called her manager Lei lan.
"Hello Lei lan"
"Mimi how was the meeting"
"going well that is until someone walked in"
"What ! !
"I found her identity card. I will get it to you find out everything about her"
"Okay"
....
meanwhile at the other part of time
Jung Jianguo walked out of the bathroom and was drying his hair when Xue Meili ran forward and hugged him from the behind.
"Your back early, how was your shoot" He said turning and pulling her into a tight hug
"It was good, Fang Mimi took a short leave so the shoot was cancelled" she looked up with a smile.
"That must not have gone well with the director" he said.
"it didn't" She replied.
"Have you eaten, if not let's go down and have a meal" He said.
"Ok, get dressed while I go wash up" she left his Embrace and walked to the closet to get out her clothes.
