Chapter 13: Three phone calls and a surprise 3

After Tang Fenfeng cut the call Xue Meili put down the phone and sat down on the seat next to Jung Jianguo's seat. Jung Jianguo had walked in while she was still on the call with Tang Fenfeng and took a seat at the head of the dinning table. The table was filled with so many rich dishes that were all his favorite dishes, Xue Meili had the chef prepare his favorite dishes to welcome him home. "That was Fenfeng, they had dinner at the Cheng Family Villa" She said after taking her seat and began putting some dishes in her plate. "Jianyu had already informed me that they would be dinning in the Cheng Family Villa, I guess they had finally announced the good news to their family" Jianguo said some removing the bones in the fish and putting some fish in her plate. "They didn't get a chance to do that considering that Sister Ruolan announced that she filled for divorce from Gu Chuanli" Xue Meili said. "Really?He said surprised. "Yes I was as surprised as you are considering that they always seamed happy" replied Xue Meili. "I am surprised that Old master Song would agree to the divorce considering that the Song family has always been a very traditional family and Gu Chuanli even though he is just an adopted son of the Song family is still a member of the family" replied Jung Jianguo thoughtfully, he could only think of a few reasons why old master Song would agree to the divorce but he didn't wish to make Meili worry she already had a lot on her plate with her career and her other responsibilities that comes with being his wife, it was no secret that his grandmother was expecting a great grandchild soon. "Ah that's quite right, sadly only time would tell, I think it's not going to be an easy transition considering she is the director of Ohsung museum" Xue Meili said. "Old master Song would have already thought of it all or he never would have let her file for a divorce" replied Jung Jianguo. "mm your right let's eat no need to dwell on this, how was your trip? Said Xue Meili changing the topic of discussion. "It was good how has your shoots been going? Jung Jianguo said looking up at her, she didn't need anyone to tell her that he already knew about the past weekend's incident. "It's gotten better" Said Xue Meili,there was no need in pretending otherwise Cheng Jianyu and Jung Jianguo were close friends and since Cheng Jianyu was already aware of the happenings on set there was no doubt Jung Jianguo was already aware. "Good if you need my help my angel you just have to say so" Jung Jianguo replied and continued eating. "I will my dear hubby" Xue Meili said smiling brightly. After the were done eating they stood and walked into Jung Jianguo's sturdy, Jung Jianguo took a seat behind the desk and Xue Meili acting extra cute walked up behind him and hugging him from behind and resting her head on his shoulder said "Hubby I missed you, am not letting you out again". 'Hmm so did I angel, I missed your beautiful smile and voice, phone calls don't do you any Justice" Jung Jianguo replied turning his head to face her and looking into her eyes with a very beautiful smile that always took her breath away, and always made her blush. She shyly gave him a kiss on the lips which he deepened. This went on for some time until she was straddling him in the seat and they were interupted by her phone ringing. They reluctantly separated and she picked up her phone and seeing an unknown number wiped to pickup the call. "Hello, this is Xue Meili speaking" She said as soon as she picked up the call. "Hello, how are you doing it's Ma Sung Su" A soft Feminine voice said. Xue Meili was so surprised at the caller considering that she was not familiar with Ma Chong Su. Ma Chong su like Tang Fenfeng started as a child actress but unlike Tang Fenfeng wasn't signed under Star entertainment, she had her own studio and was more known for acting in various wuxia and action movies and TV series so they had not had been opportunened to work together on any projects. "Thank you senior Ma Chong su am good and you? Xue Meili replied. "I am good,I would like to apologise for my recent actions, it was a misunderstanding, I don't know if I can invite you to lunch my treat are you free tomorrow? asked Ma Chong su. "I accept your apology Senior Ma Chong su and I am free tomorrow" Replied Xue Meili. " that's Good let's meet at SH Abeige restaurant at 1pm tomorrow" Said Ma Chong su. "I accept, I will see you there Senior Ma Chong su"replied Xue Meili. "Mm goodbye see you tomorrow"Ma Chong su said after which she cut the call.
