Chapter 1: The normal boy
The story begins in 2020 in a high school known as Astoria high. A young boy named Phoenix lazing around on a class room chair. While his friend's eve who was drawing pictures in her book not paying much attention to the lesson while KIA listened to the teacher working away making notes here and there. when suddenly lesson was over and the teacher began give out permission slips to go visit arched ruins school trip(that is said to be the centre of world's) once the bell went all the students made a dart for the door to get out as quick as possible to go home. They began to walk home together eve playfully tackled phoenix as kia just walked passed them both stopping to tell them to get up and stop messing in an irritated expression. so they all travelled to the same location due to they were all neighbours. But instead of heading to their separate houses eve suggested we go play video games at phoenix home. So they all did but Kia went straight into the kitchen due to she's more comfortable doing house work than playing games.
Eve and phoenix went into the living room and played video games until KIA soon came in the living room with meals for three and sweets cupcakes to share for desert. Kia had made a meal for phoenix's mother as well but left it set up nicely on the kitchen counter covers up ready for when she gets back from work. As they all relaxed time flew bye until some time after dark came. eve and KIA left to go home in street lamp light.
(no worries though they only live next door) eve said good bye but KIA just left without a word reading the permission slip on the way out to see what the trip was for and about. Now quiet and relaxed Phoenix sat in his room looking at the permission slip wondering what things would be at the ruins of Aroura falls when the front door opened and closed phoenix mum was home and already in the kitchen eating the food KIA had made with ravenous behaviour. Phoenix walked in to the kitchen and gave his mum the slip but she didn't even look at it properly she signed it gave it back to him and told him she's off to her room for some sleep before she has to get up in 5 hours or work again so she vanished up stairs with her food until morning. Early next morning phoenix awoke to his mom already gone to work and a note let on the side saying (your friends will be here in 1 hour to help you get ready for the trip to day so get you but in gear boy) so phoenix started to get ready and then the door bell rang eve and kia are at the door but let them self's in kia immediately went straight in to the kitchen making a picnic ready or the trip or the three of them while eve ran straight up stairs bugging phoenix to hurry up and get ready. (Emotions flaring) eve and phoenix mess about up stairs. Finishing making the food kia ran up stairs told the two they were late all three of them bolted out the door phoenix closing the front door one the way out then trying to catch up with the girls head to the school to meet up with the class to head to the ruins.
Reaching the school in decent time the three friends ran in line while the teacher checked names and permission slips as student's entered the mini bus while Boarding the bus.
On the bus it was busy kids messing about throwing pencils and pens even the half eaten chewing gums . KIA, eve and phoenix sat at the back away from the noise chatting about the things that the ruins could hold and what treasures could be there. 1 hour passed and the bus became quiet as it entered a parking lot that was fairly empty at this time of day. Getting off and seeing the surroundings was quiet depressing due to it looked as though a war had just taken place just then and this sight was the after sight of it all but they were ruins of a strong past of magic and knights? (Children start heading in different directions to explore) so eve ran towards a lake with a beautiful view the other two soon followed her but little did they know that their day was about to change. Kia set down the picnic blanket and left eve to do her own thing. Eve and phoenix played near the water's edge dangerously close for a game to take place as expected eve being too rough in her play she pushed phoenix into the cold water. As he hit the water a glow of light came from the bottom of the lake where the water began to pull phoenix towards it. Eve in a panic ran to get KIA but it was too late by the time the two girls came back phoenix was gone out of sight and nowhere to been seen at the bottom of the lake either…..
Phoenix was gone.....
