Chapter 21: Monkey
"What the heck did you do now?" Meili look at her front where a certain blonde monkey is sitting on the chair, sipping the coffee between his hands.
"I don't know
Ren Rouan sighed and put down the cup on the table. Currently, they're sitting on the chairs of one of the tables outside a convenience store.
"You're theft by fraud." Meili crossed her arms. "Explain it. How did this happened?"
"I didn't mean it, okay?" Ren Rouan scratched his head. " I forgot my wallet at home and a friend of mine left already so no one's going to pay for the bills."
"But you have many friends to bail you out, why me? You know I'm busy these past few day."
Ren Rouan grabbed a donut on the table and stuff it in his mouth. "Yep, busy performing in some bars." He said with a muffled voice. "Besides, you have more money to spend."
Meili stand up from her seat. "Nah, you'll have to pay me back." She started to walk away.
Seeing her, Ren Rouan grabbed the whole plastic of donuts and his coffee, catching up to Meili.
"What? Can you just let it go just for once?"
"No."
"Please, just this once. I'm your friend right? That amount of money is nothing to you." Ren Rouan pleaded, trailing behind her. " Please, please, please..."
"Fine, now shut up."
"..."
Meili now walk peacefully but not after it's interrupted by Ren Rouan. "Umm.. Meili.. Could y-you...?" His voice getting weaker as he continues speaking.
"What?! I can't hear you spit it out!" Meili snapped.
"Could you please give money for taxi fare?"
Meili: "..."
