Chapter 9: Chapter 9: I was wrong...
"Hm?"
"What is it Nii-chan?" Sagiri asked.
"Nothing, I was just about to go out and buy something in store. Want something?" I said to her as I put on my jacket.
"Yogurt for me." She replied to me.
"What about you Honoka?" I asked my sister as she wash some dishes.
"Strawberry Ice cream for me!!" My sister replied.
"Ok bye." I said to them as I left the house in the middle of the night. I jog around until I am far away from them.
"Alright then, whoever you are please come out... or I'll have to force you to come out." I spoke as I waited for the figure who was spying on me.
"I'm impressed that you were able to sense me at all." I heard a female voice.
Looking at the source I see Hilda standing at top of the pool.
"Well good evening Hilda-san, what can I do for you?" I greeted her.
"I was actually just strolling but I saw you and decided to greet you."
"Oh my, I'm flattered Hilda-san but, please tell me your true objective since I am sure that spying someone from there house for 2 hours can not be identified as a stroll." I said to her.
"Hmm... Alright then, I was just going to ask what a spell master is doing here. But I was not able to sense any presence of a devil or other being in the area when I look at you clearly." She told me.
"Oh? But I a sure you I am just a normal teenager who wants to enjoy a youthful life." I spoke to her.
"Oh? Then tell normal teenager who wants to enjoy a youthful life, why do you have the aura of spell master but different." Hilda said as she started the pull her parasol sword.
"You know... I really like it if you could have not bothered me and go our separate ways that would be for the best." I said as stretched my neck to loosen some stiffness.
"But I guess that's not happening, isn't it? Hildegarde?" I asked her.
My face become serious and my body became full alert.
'Spell Boost: Perception! Spell Boost: Speed! Spell Boost: Instinct!' I casted silently at myself before leaning back quickly to escape a slash aimed at my neck.
"Ho?" she was slightly surprised at my quick reaction before she shot her right knee towards my chest in a fast pace that I caught it in my hand before holding it. I quickly aimed my right knee towards her side stomach.
With enhanced body that also passively enhanced my speed and a spell Boost for speed directly hit her in the side. She was surprised for a minute before regaining herself in the air and landed elegantly in the ground.
She approached again in a burst of speed before she coated her sword with black energy that looks filaments and slashed at my chest.
I backed away with a single step and dropped before moving forward and try to punch her gut.
As my fist was nearing she must have expected the fist as she caught my head and used it as a momentum to turn her body in mid air and dragged me along with.
I was first surprised as the next thing I see from her black skirt and I was hit in the ground and immediately a sword was aimed to my throat.
'Shit!' I coated my hand with ki by constructing a ki glove and caught her sword by the edge of her blade and store some Ki in my feet.
Using that I aimed a kick and used it as a momentum to pull myself to ground and hit her arm by using my leg. I then release the ki that released a burst of energy that separated us, and that all happened in 13 seconds.
"You are not bad. For a rookie that is." She said as she lick a little blood that appeard in her blood seductively. Touching my cheek, I see a small blood.
For unknown reason that made me excited.
"First of all that was sexy as hell and secondly I never have someone to compare with in this area of fighting." I said with a carefree expression.
"But luckily... I found myself in punching bag." I told her as I circulated and gather some ki and constructed some knuckles made of ki in my hand.
On the other side Hilda gathered some of the black energy that gathered in her feet, it also coated her sword and moved around her body along with her green eyes shining and smiling at me.
In a quick second we disappeared in our location and meet in the middle at where my ki constructed knuckles that also release small kin burst that meet her sword that is coated with black energy.
In anyway I see an opening I attacked her in that direction which she also do the same to me.
We continue our attack as until I grab an opportunity and hit her an stomach which she followed with a headbutt towards my head.
We separated ourselves again to gain some breathing.
I healed myself any major wounds that she caused and head towards her location again with a flash step with a ki stacked punched which she countered with her black energy infused punch that cancelled each other.
"Tsk" we both clicked our tongue then fight again matching our every hit until.
*Break!
My Ki constructed gloves broke apart along with her blade.
We looked at each other's eyes and nod as we come to an agreement that we will postpone this fight.
"Anyway, I'll just tell you I won't harm you master as long as he won't harm me." I said to her.
"Hmm... Agreeable. But answer my question."
"Sure, what is it?"
"What are you? You are not a spell master as a spell master need to have a contract with a demon or any source of power. Just what are you." she spoke as she narrowed her eyes.
"Hmm... I actually don't know. I am just me I guess but if I want to be called for something then maybe you can come up with something. Naming is really not on of my strong suit." I said to her as I prepared to leave.
"Oh yeah, want to go a convince sto-" I was about to asked her but she already left and I can no longer feel her presence in the area.
"Oh well.." I said as I walk towards the store to buy. I also shakes my hands to releaves the stunned effect in my nerves also healing the cuts all over my body.
'Note to self, in case I can travel through time hit the past me for thinking having no teacher is good.I was wrong I could have used them as a punching bag or test subject for experiments instead.' I thought as during my encounter I was able to know that what I lack is experience which Hilda have over the years.
'I really need some punching bag.' I thought as I healed myself before buying what my sister's asked me.
