Chapter 3: I Turned Into a Baby

*yawn~~*
Ahh, I really transmigrated into a baby.
This feels so surreal.
I look at the window as I tried to move my tiny hands and feet but unfortunately I don't have the strength. I only manage to kick a bit of my blanket. It seems training is in order to improve my body condition.
No matter what, in this place… the knowledge that I currently have is limited. This is clearly an alternate universe. Based on the language spoken yesterday, it is clearly not Japanese or English but luckily I somehow still managed to understand some of their conversation.
Suddenly, the door is opening. For now, I'll pretend sleeping as I wait for them to approach. I didn't cry. I wanted to say something but imitating baby's speech is something that I can't do and very embarrassing to do.
They made rustling sounds as they change my sheet and diaper. After all is done, it's time for breakfast.
There are two maid that are tasked with taking care of me.
What is that on her hand? Is that snake skin?
I sneaked a longer peek at one of the maid and noticed that the skin on her right arm is indeed like a snake. Her iris isn't black either but similar to those reptiles I saw at the zoo when I sneak out from the hospital.
And what a bright hair color! No agency would hire a maid with this hair. Sure enough this isn't Earth.
I lay sideways after breakfast and look out the window. The aforementioned maids went out after finishing their tasks.
I examined the view outside and noticed that there were two suns in the sky. Seeing this, I thought that I will not be surprise anymore even if anything happens.
Unknowingly, I had fallen asleep. I found out I can move my body more and get up but the bed's structure prevented me from leaving.
Eh, isn't this a different clothes? I tried to pull at the clothes I was changed into just now. The material look expensive and comfortable to wear.
Why do I need to change clothes so many times? Did I peed when sleeping? So embarrassing. I'll need to be careful from now on. I toss around in my crib but there is nothing to do. The maid only came occasionally to check but left soon after. Maid-san, please be more concerned about me.
Though it was the same in the hospital with the nurses but there is a lot of people come to play and my parent always visit. But here... nobody cares and no one come to see me. Nobody come to entertain this baby. I seem to remember a blond woman on my first day here.
Could she be my mother? Am I an orphan!? So that's why nobody...
First, I analyzed my body and tried to remember the plot from the book I had read. Wasn't the main character usually said [Status] and discover all sort of cheat skill and went on to dominate the world.
I tries saying [Status] but nothing happened. No strange skill appeared either.
Where is my cheat skills?! Did I get cheated?!
Forget it! Reincarnation. Transmigration. This is my chance to do the things I want. Play with friends. Go to school. I'll be able to re-life as a kid.
The thought really lifted my spirits.
For now, let's try crawling.
