Chapter 126: She died

In the midst of dust and dirt, Ira's eyes searched for a familiar face. People pushed her aside, running away from the site, while Ira rushed in the direction opposite to the crowd. Everything around was noisy and unclear. The commotion that surrounded her, made it hard think rationally.

A scaffolding of the building, which was under construction, had collapsed.

This was the site where Reeya had the accident.

'Where are you, Red!? Please God!' Ira ran frantic as her eyes swept the place. She couldn't find Reeya.

Hospital ambulances and fire trucks siren were echoing in the background. Officials were trying to rescue all those who were trapped under the debris of the shed. Many people were injured and carried away on stretchers.

Reeya had died saving a man. He was buried in the basement of the building.When she found him his leg was pinned by debris. He refused to let them perform an amputation to free himself despite the danger of further collapse.
