Chapter 121: a mere Pawn

Clara got discharged. She disguised herself with a hat and wig.

On a wheelchair, Ryan took her out of the hospital to the carpark.

As soon as they reached carpark, Clara gestured Ryan to stop. She got up and calmly walked to the car.

Ryan opened the door, and Clara sat inside the car.

Ryan perched on the driver seat, and the car dashed out of the hospital grounds.

Just as she occupied her seat, James roared, "How did this happen?"

Turning her head slightly, she looked at James. "Dad, that is what I am puzzled about as well. How did

the drug you gave me, turn out to be cocaine?" she questioned.

Seeing her confused,

James sighed. "I am a Pharmacist, Clara. The drug I gave you was a pure aphrodisiac. Nothing more." James explained.

He removed a strip of tablets from the bag. "This was the one I had given you."
